Dr. Giuffre provides top notch service and care. She’s personable and an expert in her plastic and reconstructive surgical specialty.
I can’t say enough also about the seamless care as well, at Pam Am Clinic.
Go to the best/Have your referral and treatment with Dr Giuffre!

I had recalled breast implants removed. This doctor was recommended by a well know explant surgeons office in Edmonton . Dr. Giuffre is exceptional ... skilled and fantastic bedside manner!!! She is so nice. I felt she really cared about me. She should be on those doctor explant lists. She used drains which I wanted and a lot came out.
The explant was covered by MB Health and I paid
$10 000 for a lift. My breasts look great already and I just had it done three days ago.
Dr. Giuffre operates at Maples Surgical but does her follow ups at Pan Am Clinic. Appointments are pleasant. Pan Am is a friendly place.
I want other work done by Dr. Giuffre but Im not wanting to return to Maples as there is a horrible nurse there so going to ask if I can have her be absent.
Maples Surgical where Dr. Giuffre operates .. the staff are great except for the one very nasty nurse ...older blonde lady. She is an angry person and hates vaxx free patients and releases her fury on you if she finds out. This seems to go against the policy of the centre as I asked if my vaxx status was an issue and they said it was absolutely NOT!
If a mask causes you respiratory issues they dont seem to respect exemptions. In my case I cough with a mask on so I took a cough candy and put some Vicks on so not to be hacking up a lung entering surgery but that was not the right thing to do. Said nurse asked me if I was vaxxed, I said no and she said "you're one of those" and she then asked me if I wore a mask when out amd I said no .. she was disgusted. She severely reprimanded me, gave me a time out ?!!- told me my surgery might be postponed or cancelled. She eventually returned and asked me if I learned my lesson and then poof it was a non issue and surgery proceeded?! She made me cry. This surgery was a positive decision for me but this woman made it not so positive .. I did not want to be crying as I entered the OR and no one talked to me, guess theyre scared of her too.
The clinic gave me the forms to fill out just prior to surgery eventhough I had been there the day before for a long time and the thing about not having gum or candy was in small print in the bottom corner. I did tell the front staff I was taking a cough candy but no one said anything. I dont know why they dont tell patients repeatedly not to have gum or candy at all if it can result in surgery being cancelled?

Anyway I recommend Dr. Giuffre
If you must go to Maples
-take someone woth you tp advocate in case psycho nurse is there .. ask for her NOT to be present if possible
-clarify vaxx status / mask usage in writing if you can if this is a concern
-ensure prescriptions are sent to pharmacy as we had to check three times
-have vehicle ready for your comfort as it seems to be rushed when they want you gone

Excellent and knowledgeable Dr. She performed my hand surgery, and I have no complaints. The only have 1 comment and 1 complaint. My surgery was done almost 3 months ago, and I didn't see the Dr again until this week, almost 3 months post surgery. Maybe this is normal, but I'm not sure either way I'd go back to her. Secondly, her nurse at Pan Am Clinic was the WORST NURSE I've ever dealt with, cold, rude, and made extremely out of Lind and rude comments to me. If I ever go back to Pan Am and that the nurse walks in, I will walk out. I can't remember the nurses name, but I will never forget that face and attitude along with the inapropriatness !!!!

The surgeon is great but her nurse is terrible. If anything seems wrong with your surgery post, definitely take matters into your own hands and demand help or whatever you require because no one‘s gonna care unless you make a a priority. The nurse has no idea of the surgery and caused issues to mine when I went for a follow up visit. The casting department put my cast on too tight and caused nerve damage.

Dr. Giuffre was taking care of a subungual biposy on my big toe. She explained 5 minutes before hand that she would be removing my toenail, taking the sample, and the stitching it back on. I thought it was weird that no one explained the extent of the procedure or to bring lose fitting shoes for after wards or what the recovery would be like before hand. The procedure overall went ok, but going in not knowing what to expect made me very anxious. The nurse however, was an angle she was so kind and caring. Dr. Giuffre on the other hand was sort of dry (that's fine though as long as she knows what she's doing - Spoiler: she does not know what she is doing). Recovery took 2 weeks on very strong pain killers which almost cost me a very important job interview as I did not know recovery and the pain of the healing would be that bad. When I went to get my stitches removed she was over an hour late as she had multiple appointment s booked at the same time and she managed to tare off a piece of my skin in the process. She said the new nail would push the old nail out which is why she had opted to stitch it back on. I thought this was weird as other members in mny family have had toenails removed but never stitched back on. Fastforward to a couple months later and the old toe nail just completely peeled off my toe, so the stitches and the painful recovery was for nothing as that toenail did not even stay on. Not sure where she received her training but I know that I will never be going back to her again.

Excellent experience. Very nice little lady. Very polite and approachable. Did an excellent face cyst removal procedure. I was so nervous. She spoke to me thru the procedure and calmed me down. Did it so quickly and very well. She must have many many years of experience since she did it so fast. I was initially referred to private plastic surgeons where $350 procedure is not paid by MB Health. I then simply googled and found this Doc. I got put on cancellation list. And was lucky to be called in. Scheduled for a follow up in a week. Great experience!

Relatively "simple" Trigger Finger release surgery. Doc was Amazing, staff and nurses were wonderful. Procedure was painless and straight forward. No scar on my palm, finger is as good or BETTER than new! If anything else goes wrong... I am going to see Dr. G!

Simply put Winnipeg doesn’t have any good surgeons. Go to the United States.
