Great Doctor, very knowledgeable, attentive listener and very courteous and respectful. His medical approach was unbelievable, battery of tests, two thorough follow ups. He was referred to me as a doctor who will investigate and find the problem. And this is true and he did not dismiss as just IBS like many other doctors often do. and because of this, I was able to eliminate intestinal issues. As an English speaking woman of color, the amount of racist condescension I received from doctors in this city has been unbelievable. Dr Bessisow is not one of them. He is respectful, listens to you without minimizing your concerns, explains without condescension and takes his time. He is a class act.

After the private clinic I was going to closed, I was lucky enough to get Dr. Bessissow as my doctor....however it took 2 years of making appointments with several other clinics without results before Dr. Wong referred me to Dr. Bessissow.
