I cannot express the sense of relief I have knowing that Dr. Wild is my GI. After having bad experiences in the past with another GI, I am grateful to be with him now. He is empathetic, listens and is extremely knowledgeable. We need more doctors like him.

Mon expérience de colonoscopie l’an dernier: Dr Gary Wild m’a dit « stop throwing a s**t show » quand je hurlais de douleur pendant la procédure. Au lieu de m’aider, l’infirmière me disait de respirer et d’arrêter de me tortiller pcq ça rend le travail du Dr difficile. J’avais pourtant indiqué avoir eu une mauvaise première expérience, demandé davantage de sédatif et anesthésiant et indiqué que ça m’angoissait. J’en suis traumatisée.

Ce docteur manque terriblement d’empathie. En tant que femme, je me suis sentie ignorée et minimisée.

(Ironique qu’on m’interdise d’utiliser le mot « s**t » alors que c’est le Dr lui même qui m’a dit ça en pleine procédure)

Dr. Gary Wild is the best GI you can have. He has been my GI for over 20 yrs. I see him every year for my check up. He saved my life 18 years ago! Other GI I had did not act quick enough. Dr. Wild saw me right away from ER and admitted me to the hospital immediately, where I stayed for 1 month. He was genuinely sad at the state I was in. He couldn’t believe that the seriousness of my disease was missed. I owe my life to Dr. Wild due to his extensive experience in IBD.

I had the pleasure of being treated at the Brunswick Medical Clinic this morning. The staff who organized my colonoscopy appointment and answered all my questions were very helpful and friendly. I arrived today and was met with the nicest assistants who prepped me for the procedure with Dr. Wild. He could not have been nicer and explained everything along the way. The procedure was thorough and so easy to get through. He put me at ease and assured me all was well. What can be a nervous experience was so easy and comfortable! Wonderful doctor and can’t say enough about the staff!! Thank you!!!!

Dr. Wild is nice and he seems to know what he's doing. He has performed a Colonoscopy and an Endoscopy on me over the past few years and they went well but afterwards he prescribed medications for me and when I asked questions about them, he basically told me that they would help and not to worry. Since then, anytime I pose a question to him, he brushes me off and says I've got too much anxiety for no reason and to just relax and let him do his job!! Just because a patient has a question doesn't mean they're anxious or paranoid!! I once showed him the side profile of my abdomen, at the time I was 110 lbs. It was so distended that I could pass for being 7 months pregnant!! It was hard as a rock and I really wanted to know what could be causing it. He looked at me like it was normal and nothing to worry about and prescribed me some Probiotics. At that point I was about to explain to him that I had already been taking Prebiotics, Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes for a few years and nothing helped but he cut me off again, as though I shouldn't be concerned and told me to try the ones he was prescribing. The kind I was already taking had the same type of bacteria, at the same dosage as the ones he prescribed but were 40% more expensive!! If I can find another Gastroenterologist that is taking new patients I will definitely give them a try!!

Great Doctor alway attentive however over the past few months he is less patient and maybe due to heavy workloads … this is not a negative and hopefully he takes this as constructive

Dr. Wild is fantastic! I've been with him for years. He always takes the time to review test results with me and explain what is going on, in addition to making a personal connection. He has a great sense of humor and I'm very thankful to have him. He also helped me out by referring me to get some tests done when it was impossible for me to see my gynecologist. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Open to discussions.

I loved my experience with Dr wild! He’s approachable, explains well, calm, he took the time to listen to my symptoms and experience with my condition over the last few years.
I had previously been with another doctor who was rude, made me think my gluten intolerance was rubbish, so I have to say I was so happy with my experience on my first visit with dr wild. The colonoscopy thereafter went well as well. I would definitely recommend

I've had worse doctors, but not by much. Overall quite rude, he rushed our encounters and made me feel stupid for asking questions. He ordered tests I didn't need and gave out prescriptions without explanation. He reminded me of Dr. House without the brilliance, wit or charm.
