I had Dr. Calitz once because my normal doctor was busy and i was having some scary symptoms. He got me in for tests straight away and was concerned. I appreciated that, and his calm demeanor were much appreciated.

Over the years I have seen Dr. Calitz for a number of different issues. He has always been very patient and very good at explaining what’s going on. Anytime I have needed further tests or specialist he has always made sure that these things are taken care of

He has been my Dr for a number of years now. I have found him very easy to deal with, very knowledgeable and always gives me a good explanation of what is happening. If he doesn’t know something he hasn’t hesitated to follow up with specialists or tests. He is also open to my using alternative medicine.

I have seen Dr. Calitz several times for various concerns and find him punctual, but at the same time very patient with longer appointments, given that I have issues as long as my arm and he treats me kindly, respectfully, and is unassuming. He goes out of his way to provide referrals and is quick about it. He is gentle spirited and like any doctor, isn't educated (to any degree the way a ND is) in alternative therapies, but does not interfere with that approach should you wish to take it. He is the only doctor that I've been able to fully trust in Whitecourt, other than Doctor Olivier, who is now gone, and I'm sure hoping that this status doesn't change, that he doesn't become arrogant and think he knows it all or behaves that way. I see a couple of folks had some bad experiences; he misdiagnosed one person and the other person couldn't abide what they viewed as complete arrogance. This rating always makes me cautious because I believe people say what they do for a reason and on the other hand, his behaving that way is just so inconsistent with his treatment of me; nevertheless, no one should come away with feeling that way...so I hope more people take the time to rate the doctors because they can easily slip into arrogance because of the power they are given to make too many decisions on your behalf and we are all often at their mercy and this can give them a serious ego trip.

Great Dr. I have a condition that makes it mandatory to visit with Dr.Calitz every 2 months. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and does not try and push me out the door.

I had a pulled muscle in my back... 1 month later i had pain under the arm towards my breast I seen him told him something major was wrong.... he told me it was irritated intestine.. 1.5 hours later I was removed from job by ambulance. I had blacked out.. constist headache from june 10- march 11 ..finally I am told the blacks out and headaches were cause my muscle pressing on a nerve.. Thanks for making my life hell for so many months.
