This woman is preying upon people who can't accept ageing, charging a fortune. Selling the supplements she prescribes is a conflict of interest. My father saw her for years and was over-treated with testosterone. I am certain that it has contributed to his heart disease. Now that he is exhausted from heart failure, she thinks he has "adrenal fatigue." She also sent him to a bogus "sleep doctor" who told him to use a custom appliance (cost a fortune) instead of CPAP for apnea. That also made heart and fatigue worse. Marina Johnson should be sued 10 times over for malpractice!

She is a very thorough doctor and got down to the root of my problem and did not just throw RX's at me like previous doctors to mask my issues. Pricey but worth feeling the way I do today!!!!!

This doctor has opted out of insurance not because she wants the decisions to be made by you and not the ins co. But because she knows that the ins co is going to call her on the ridiculous tests she does. Then she won't get $ directly from you for $450 office visits (per hour!!!) and she can charge whatever she wants for your lab tests. And during your office visits she takes plenty of time to sell you HER line of supplements. She's very convincing and has fooled a lot of people. Don't be one of them. If you you are one of them get out now, find a respected doctor and ask THEM what they think about Dr Johnson. I think you'll be surprised. Many don't think she'll be a doctor much longer, if that tells you anything.

I will not use this doctor anymore or refer her. I was charged a small fortune for office visits and tests and her diagnosis was that I was low on vitamin D. Not what I expected from a "specialist" for my complex issues. She wanted me to keep coming back for more tests - no thank you - I've already drained my bank account and maxed out my credit cards for nothing.

Dr. Johnson does not accept insurance nor does she allow LabCorp to file on insurance...they will do this if the physician sets up their account this way...so she can charge $3500 for lab work costing $350! She has you do testing in her office, need it or not, so she can charge more $$$$. She got mad at me and refused to give me results to a test!!! She had my estrogen level so high my new dr. said he had never seen a patient with this high and dangerous a level! There are many good doctors out there...she is not one of them.

My first appointment with Dr Johnson was 4 hrs x $450/per hr = $1800. Blood work = $3000, 3 follow up appointments at $450/per hr.= $2700, various other tests $3,000, more blood work $1850. After all this, Dr. Johnson could not come up with a diagnosis and thought I might be Vitamin D deficient. I decided then that I could not continue seeing Dr. Johnson and made an appointment with a general practioner. On the first visit, he suggested that the problem was a low thyroid and prescribed Armour. I now feel great and I don't understand how an endocronologist that is supposed to be specialized in this area didn't figure this out. I've had to get a second job to pay off my credit card that was used to pay for Dr. Johnson's charges.

This doctor charges $450 an hour for an office visit. My first appointment was $1800 and not counting the $3000 for lab work. She does not accept insurance ... only cash, check or credit card. Insurance does not cover the office visits or labs. I spent over $10,000 and I'm not any better than before I went to see her. Too pricey for me with little results.

This doctor is one of the most informed and intelligent diagnosticians I have ever met. I think she has clients all over the world that come to her because she is that good. She spent 5 hours with me at my first visit! I came in 2 weeks before my appointment and she had all of my objective lab information in hand. After taking an extensive history..(what a listener), by the end of my first visit she presented me an awesome health plan and an explanation of everything that had ever happened to me. She's expensive but worth every penny.
