He speeds a lot of time with each patient so if you are in a rush...he is not the one to see. If you want excellent care...he is the one.

What a great doctor.A human in his greatest form. Knowledge, compession and always time to discuss the given health situation. I am greatful to have found such person. If not for Dr. Lourie I would perhaps be in a wheelchair. Instead, I am working, taking care of my family and my patients. Thank you Dr. Lourie, I am forever greatful.

I went to Dr Lourie for years. He is a wonderful doctor. When I left him to move to Ohio, I cried all the way home from the office knowing I wouldn'T be seeing him again. When I moved to Ohio I found that there aren't many drs in Dr. Lourie's field and had quite a time finging a dr. Can't wait to move back to md and bcome Dr. Lourie's patient again. He is a kind, considerate and gentle man and I miss him alot.

I saw Dr Lourie in the early 90s. I was suffering from an infection from an oral surgery, which was diagnosed much later. He was in cahoots with the oral surgeons. I never told him my illness was caused by a suture abscess, but he had detailed notes about it in my records. (planning their malpractice defense) He was arrogant, not helpful and contributed to making a very bad situation much worse. He was only interested in taking care of his friends malpractice, not my health. Fortunately, I left the area and found docs willing to be honest, diagnose and treat me. I feel fortunate that I am alive.

I have been to a lot of Doctors and Dr. Lourie has been the worst one. I just got home from my 3rd visit with him in tears. I have never had a doctor raise his voice at me & tell me I was whining (before the examiniation, new pain), never had my chart misplaced and waited so long to be seen (at all 3 appointments) like I had with him. I strongly will not recommend him to anybody I know. In the middle of him arguing with me, I walked out. The nurses & Staff are VERY friendly and I have no problem with them.
