My first experience with this doctor was last year for an annual visit. She likes to prescribe tests for unnecessary reasons and you get stuck with payment as they are not covered by your carrier for annual visits. Think twice before considering this woman.

Professional; listened attentively to my med history and then asked questions for clarification. Then she provided me with a plan to help my condition. Evidently knowledgeable and am extremely grateful for this kind of physician in the Hot Springs, AR area.

I have been a patient if Dr Fitzgerald for 6 or 7 years . When I found out she was going to move her practice to Hot Springs I was really upset. I am a R N with over 38 yrs. of practice. I know what to look for in a quality Dr. Dr. Fitzgerald is top notch. In fact I am traveling to Hot Springs for my appointments as I know her knowledge and skills are excellent. I disagree totally with the comment made by, I believe, the first person to comment here. She does not push medicines that the drug reps are selling. She is very careful in what she prescribes, in that she carries a book with her to make sure there are no contraindications or untoward reactions that might occur with the meds one is now taking. I would call Dr Fitzgerald punctual, thorough and conscientious. To me it is more important to have a Dr who is knowledgeable and conscientious than it is to have one that is a "toucher". I know plenty who are syrupy and "touchy " who aren't knowledgeable. Their patients love them. But are they getting quality care?

She is not a doctor who likes to touch a person. She is only able to think inside the box (a very small box) and is very much up on supplying all the newest drugs. The drug reps are feeding the entire staff huge meals at their facility! LRDC is like a sale barn... run the thru the chute and get the out!

Once I discovered that calling the Dr. Fitzgerald's nurse was the way to get an appointment things are much improved. I like Amy and I feel I do receive good care. She is professional but makes you feel comfortable.
