She will cancel 2 hours before after booking appointment 4 months in advance and staff is rude about it. Don't waste your time

Love Dr. Fomin-I have been seeing her for years. Never have to wait to be seen-direct and to the point with treatment.

Very inconsiderate and rescheduling appointments constantly. Always running late and behind with patients. Very cold and inappropriately defensive.

I am a medical professional and a patient who required acute and immediate assistance from an endocrinologist. I was referred to this doctor by my PCP and unfortunately did not perform my due diligence in reading her reviews- as the majority of them are awful and perfectly mimic the experience I had with her. Both personally and professionally, Dr. Fomin is by far the worst doctor I have come into contact with. I scheduled an initial consult with her 6 weeks in advance and had my PCP fax over all of my medical information weeks prior to my visit. Her office staff called me twice to reschedule my appt. stating that Dr. Fomin planned to leave early on the day I was scheduled and I politely agreed to rescheduling both times. On the day of my appt. I arrived 10 mins early (with a confirmation call from her office just minutes before I arrived), only to walk in and have Dr. Fomin approach me and tell me that she didn't have enough time to see me because I was late. I informed her I was 10 mins. early and she could care less. She said I had a very complicated case for which she needed ample time to review (she obviously did not read my medical records faxed over weeks prior) and that she didn't have enough time to evaluate my case. I am a patient who has severe difficulty driving and I asked why I was not informed of this prior to my arrival, especially since the office staff had just called me to confirm the appt minutes before my appt. She dismissed my concerns and continued to blame my tardiness and did not even offer me an option to reschedule. I left her office furious for wasting 6 weeks' worth of time waiting for an appointment that never happened. Her office manager later admitted that they had scheduled me incorrectly and didn't think that the doctor would actually cancel my appt. upon arrival. I asked for an apology from the doctor since she continued to state the reason for my cancelled visit was because I was late (for which I was not), her office staff agreed but later called and said the doctor refused to apologize. At that point, her office staff became completely unapologetic and dismissive (obviously fearful of the doctor's reaction) of my situation and could care less about my concerns and the inconvenience that was caused. Dr. Fomin's bedside manner is simply offensive and shocking, and this is coming from someone has worked day in and out with doctors for the past 15 years. She was completely unprepared for my visit and was overly defensive about canceling my appt., not once taking blame for the mistakes her office and staff had made. She is rude and inconsiderate on a basic human level- I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Bad bedside manner. Made me feel like I was wasting her time. Never inquired about any other medical conditions I was dealing with that would have effected my sugars. Once even had me reschedule an appointment that I showed up for because I had one copay unpaid and couldn't pay it immediately. Went elsewhere.

Dr.Fomin saved my life. I was very sick when I met her. Had severe inflammation of my thyroid gland. She diagnosed right away, put me on the right treatment, and 3 months late I was a new healthy person

I have been diabetic for many years. Always had problems with sugars. Dr.Fomin convinced me to go on insulin pump, and I am a different person, much better sugar control and happier.

Svetlana Fomin isn't really knowledgeable about her own specialty, has a terrible "bedside manner," has a superiority complex and has written my and my childrens' prescriptions incorrectly. Some of her office staff seems friendly but embarrassed to tell patients what the doctor tells them to say and they do not answer the phones (leave a message and someone will get back to you usually the next day). This is during office hours. At least one staff member is rude and seems overwhelmed by work even though no one seems to be in the office whenever I've gone. Dr. Fomin isn't the type of doctor I was hoping for. Found another instead.
