Dr. Ari Nowain is one of the most effective and informed MD I’ve ever come across. His first background visit was more thorough than I have ever had. He performed my colonoscopy quickly and with zero grief. I would recommend him 5/5.

I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Nowain, because I honestly think he is the best gastroenterologist in the LA area! So, I was having pretty severe issues with hemorrhoids, so I spoke with a friend about the issue, as she had something similar earlier in the year. She suggested that I make an appointment with Dr. Nowain. Although I was skeptical, she claimed he was the best gastroenterologist in the area- and I was really needing medical relief, so I didn’t want to waste anymore time! I called the office and scheduled an appointment. When I met Dr. Nowain I knew that I would be in good hands. He was so kind and friendly, and listened to me very carefully. I didn’t feel awkward talking about my hemorrhoids and he helped me to come up with a treatment plan that has worked very well for me. He let me ask all of my questions, and was very thorough with his answers- the man definitely is the best gastroenterologist in the Los Angeles area!

Dr. Nowain is the best! He treated my hemorrhoids for me. It's a little embarrassing to have hemorrhoids to say the least. I didn't know I could get them in my 20s! Regardless, they needed to be treated. As it turns out, Dr. Nowain is one of the best gastroenterologists around to see. I'm lucky my insurance provider allowed me to see him and not some other gastroenterologist that isn't as good. In just three appointments, I had my hemorrhoids removed through a procedure known as hemorrhoid banding. I was initially nervous the procedure would hurt, but I was completely wrong! First off, the procedure was completely painless (awesome!) and secondly (and perhaps most importantly) it was very successful. Apparently, the banding procedure cuts off blood flow to the hemorrhoids and they just fall off. After just a few meetings with Dr. Nowain, hemorrhoids are now a thing of my past! If you need a gastroenterologist to treat hemorrhoids, do yourself a favor and contact Dr. Nowain!

Thankfully I have not been to many gastroenterologists, but with the few I have seen I can say that by far Dr Nowain is the best gastroenterologist around. I had a worrisome instance with hemorrhoids and when it didn't improve naturally I eventually found Dr Nowain. He assured me when I was first evaluated that I would be just fine after the hemorrhoid treatment and there would be nothing to worry about. He made me feel at ease, and the best part was in the end everything worked out exactly the way he had told me in the first place. He is very kind and professional and has a very confident trustworthy vibe about him. I would recommend any to him who may need treatment.
