I have been a patient of Dr L Cherem for the past 10 months, when I first started my care with Dr Cherem my Kidney was in bad shape , to date my Kidney has improved tremendously I have followed the Doctor's
instructions. Dr Cherem had gone beyond his specialty, not only give me up to date information on my condition, but also in other areas of my health care. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest!
He takes the time to talk to you , answer your questions. I Highly recommend him for your Kidney Care.

Dr. Cherem is a fantastic doctor and communicator. He's very caring and have a good sense of humor. I was concern with my decreasing kidney function. He took time to explain want was happening with my kidneys. He was very informative and that is something I admire about a concern doctor. After scheduling testing a treatment plan was prescribed and my kidney function is now improving. I am very happy my wife told me about this fantastic doctor.

the multiple reviews in his website all talk of his qualities, "a patient's doctor and a doctor's doctor", if you are sick and need a nephrologist, he is the man to have on your case.

Absolutely the best Dr. He really cares about you and your health. Started going to Dr.Cherem when he was at The St.Luke Towers .Had my kidney transplant in 2005 and been thru quit a few medical emergency .Last year found out I had cancer was in ICU a month and thru his knowledge and caring saved my kidney. Dr. Cherem is amazing. He has a vast knowledge in his field and knows how to put it in easy to understand form. He takes his time and doesn't keep you waiting. If I could I would give him a 10 star rating.

I've had the pleasure and the privilege to observe Dr, Cherem interact with his patients, and I have to say his bedside manner is surpassed only by his knowledge and expertise in kidney care. His smile is contagious, and his sense of humor can brighten anyone's day. There's a familiarity between the patients and Dr. Cherem that extends all the way to the patients' children and spouses. He is meticulous while reviewing patient history, medication, and labs to ensure or improve kidney function. Every patient of Dr. Cherem's is grateful to have him as their kidney specialist and is enthusiastic about their next visit. His patients are highly motivated to follow his recommendations, and are eager to hear about their health improvements. Never in a rush, Dr. Cherem takes his time and uses a series of anecdotes to explain in a manner that the patients can understand exactly what needs to be done. Patients leave the office expressing gratitude for knowing Dr. Cherem, and can't help to reach out and hug him.

I read some of the comments and they are the truth about him, in short order, he is trustworthy, knowledgeable, honest, always with a smile, on time, and if kidney problems are your problems, you better have him on your team of doctors really, he always jokes that "I don't do windows, only kidneys" but that he does extremely well. It's hard to find a good doctor like him these days because everybody is in a rush, with him is like you take a step back and just "let it ride", he takes you where you need to go in terms of information and a whole lot of other things, good vibes and all, just what you need when you are sick. All the best to him, I know my family loves him, his patients love him and the staff sure respects him. What else do you need if you are sick?

When Dr. Cherem walks into your hospital room with his wonderful smile you feel better instantly ! You just know he has all the answers and that he will spend as long as it takes for you to understand what needs to be done. He is one of the most compassionate doctors we have EVER met !
