MONEY MINTER. he first talks about money when you are in horrible pain. makes you sign his contract and then touches you for treatment.

Just northern used car salesman disguised as a chiro. He wants money before he even looks at you. I arrived 15 minutes early for me appointment Bc they are a self professed “on time” office. He arrived 30 minutes late, gave his speech, left then sent in his office manager to tell me my next appointment fees would be approx $250 and it’s due now. The list of X-rays covered parts of my body that weren’t even problematic!!!I haven’t even made the second appointment and he wants me to pay!!! Not to mention he hadn’t even examined me. This place isn’t about patient care is billing insurance to make money. Stay away!!!!!

It started off with a free consultation through facebook promotion and his office being really close to home, i thought why not give a Chiropractor a shot since I've practically been to a PCP and Specialist and after several X-Ray's, MRI, PT nothing helped with my issue. Their office is clean and the staff seemed helpful. However, that's where the good stuff stops. He did not come across as a doctor who is looking to treat patients but rather a doctor who is after the money. Part of his free consultatation, we spoke for a good 20 mins where i gave him a thorough run down of the issue at hand. He asked me to put on a gown, lay down and said he will step out for a bit and be back only to realize that he sends his staff to explain next steps that includes X-Rays, and then treatment plan that could include 3-12 weeks of therapy. Mind you, I am not opposed to the idea of a therapy, but i'm sure no doctor will push paper and recommend therapy without laying a finger on you and in this case, the doctor is a Chiropractor! I took a pass and left his office feeling thankful for not falling to his scam. BEWARE!

Dr. Black is not the typical Chiropractor. He LISTENS and knows what he is doing. I have been sick for over 10 years and he helped me for the first time begin to change how I live... seems the drugs I was taking only make we worse, I'm glad I found him through a friend. I don't agree with comment about bring your spouse as a negative. Dr. Black spent over 2 hours with us on the first 2 visits and really helped my wife and I understand how his approach is different, and why care is needed, how it works, etc.... I highly recommend him, infact I have referred 2 people to him already this month.

I had excruciating back pain because my job requires me to spend a lot of time driving and lifting heavy things. Over time with Dr. Blacks treatment plan that pain went away. This was my first time trying chiropractic care and I was surprised that not only did my back pain go away, but also my anxiety became more manageable. At the time I started treatment, it was pretty high. I didn't share that information though. I would recommend Dr. Black because he his caring and professional, but in general recommend chiropractic care to anyone who has not tried it.

I totally agree with the previous comment. Beware of him. He plays with human psychology and sets a trap so that people will fall into the trap. He is the most unethical doctor I have ever seen. Here is how he does it: He will first give some promotion of $35 or $50 for first time check up. Then he will ask you to come with your spouse for the next visit where he will share the results. This is a trap as most of the spouse will be really worried and persuade you to spend any outrageous amount he would have quoted. He will show the results of thermal scan with black and red lines. Now I know, the thermal scan he does will show some problem with most adults. He will show you that you have difference in weight between your legs which is a fact with everyone(ask him to stand on the scale and see the reading). I have more problems with my back before I started going to him and he drained my HRA account(without my consent) even after getting money from me in cash and from insurance.

This is a patient mill, plain and simple. You WILL get the hard sell and will be harrassed into bringing your spouse/family/friends/dog/cat/baby and anything else with a pulse into his office for treatment. He will try to sell you on a treatment "contract" and will not take no for an answer! Went 4 times and adjustments on average lasted about 3 minutes with the remainder of the time spent trying to get you to buy some expensive package or products. I finally stopped going for the pure fact that I was annoyed at being "sold" something from the time I walked into the office, until the time I left. I have finally found a REAL chiropractor who is into treating patients for an actual condition rather than trying to sell you "lifestyle" or "wellness" 500 visit per year packages for 1/2 money up front and 2 easy installments of hundreds of dollars each. There are legitimate chiros out there...do yourself a favor and find one because this ain't it.
