Same as person above. Waited over 1 hour then was told by Dr Zimmerman that he cant fill my script and I had to return after waiting 9 days. When I told him I would be out of medication he told me to "SUCK IT UP". I almost couldn't believe my ears. A pain specialist telling me to SUCK IT UP. Great compassion and great way to treat patients in pain. I will call and make complaint to the board. I also had to pay first without knowing I would have to wait 9 days to get my medications. WOW I take NORCO, strong stuff at three per day. The front office person Derrick breaks every privacy act in the medical field by shouting out your info in front of everyone else, then answers calls and acts like he knows about medication. He's not licensed people, he cant do that. Sad part is that I had seen him before and came back after moving and he still wouldn't give me a script first visit. Funny thing is he did it before at the other office. These doctors think everyone is a drug addict and it makes it tough for legit patients. I am licensed myself and would have never said SUCK IT UP to a patient in pain. Under treating pain patients is a common problem with doctors and the patient are the ones who suffer because the doctor doesn't know how to adequately treat your pain effectively. Don't go there if you want your pain treated appropriately. All these doctors want to do anymore is give steroid injections so they can bill your insurance to make more money. They don't care about your pain they want to make more money. It's always about money. Not care and compassion.

Uncaring doctor, go somewhere else. This doctor DOES NOT accept patients who use marijuana. He told me he does not prescribe pain medications on the first visit. I went to see him after waiting 4 months for a referral and appointment. He does not tell you he won't treat you until you have paid your money and waited - I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time to get this bad news. He is very unfeeling, so please understand that he drug tests and will not treat you even if you legally use marijuana for pain relief and are a registered medical marijuana patient in compliance with Amendment 20 of the Colorado constitution. Wish I had my $40 copay back, I live on social security disability. I am in so much pain and just heart broken.
