I'm confused by the negative reviews. I have been a patient for my entire adult life and Dr. Mack is the best! She's a great person and a great doctor.

Worst psychiatrist I've ever had, dropped me like a fly for no reason and I was left to withdrawal on my meds.

I suffered from OCD as a kid and had all sorts of irrational fears about germs that flooded my head each day. It got to a point where I was washing my hands so much that my knuckles would bleed. As a 12 year old who was otherwise very happy and successful, I was extremely confused by the whole ordeal. My parents brought me to a couple different psychologists in town who advocated 'touch therapy', which is basically just forcing yourself to touch the things that you are afraid of because of their 'germs'. It didn't work. Finally, my parents brought me to a psychiatrist, Dr. Patrice Mack. Dr. Mack was the first doctor to diagnose me with OCD. She reassured me that OCD could be treated, and that having OCD didn't mean I was crazy. In fact, many successful people have some form of OCD. Her treatment quite literally changed my life, and within a few months I was back to normal. I have grown up to be a very successful adult. I still have OCD flare ups every now and then, but Dr. Mack continues to provide me with the kind of reassurance and treatment that she did when I was a kid. I highly recommend Dr. Mack -- she is the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mack's for a while now. My psychiatric issue takes time along with medication. She is always on time and always gives me her full attention. She is well read and up to date on new medications as well as current meds and will recommend the appropriate one if needed. She also will take the time to explain why. I have seen others in the past and have found her to be the most helpful and healing source for me.

What's incredible about this Dr is that she acts like she cares, starts you on medication protocol, then switches at her whim, whatever her latest drug rep provides. In quality care the regimen is consistent and responsible, she's an unprofessional doctor who is well past retirement - hang it up, you don't keep current with any trends/training or education.

You can schedule an appointment since it's $400.00 an hour at this place. Wonder why it's easy to get in and see this Doctor? Hmmm. Doctor is so out of touch and could not care less, pushed some pills my way to get me back in her door 30days later. Don't know if this is a scam but sure felt like it, went back to my old MD in Ft. Myers, a long drive but rather than pill push the latest junket meds they received, he cares. There are much better out there, hang it up already Dr. Hack

A great listener and judge of people. Offered insightful advice on my situation and how I can react to it. One meeting cannot help anyone . She referred me to a wonderful psychologist and my don to a wonderful counsellor. If you understand the idea between a psychologist and psychiatrist you will understand her methods and recommendations.She always tries to work me in if I need a special appointment . But ,I understand her need to move on to the next patient quickly and efficiently.From the 1st time I saw her 5 yrs ago I was never asked for money in advance . Most doctors offices will ask " and how will you be paying for your appointment in advance. It's a way of saving you from standing around in front of the next patient coming in to see Dr Mack. She is a very busy Dr and that speaks for itself

Seriously, $400.00? Started late and ended early, she could not have cared less. RETIRE ALREADY, you are doing NO favors to anyone but her pocketbook.

Not really into helping all that much, collected fees up front and sat and listened. Couldn't wait to schedule me for another appointment, that didn't happy however as I will look elsewhere.
