Dr. B. Iyer (from the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago) is without question one of the warmest, most compassionate people you will ever meet, and one of the best vascular surgeons in the U.S. His immense concern for his patients, his remarkable surgical skills, and his vast experience is what sets him apart from other surgeons. He operated on my aortic aneurisms when I was 80 years old, and when I was 88. Before the last operation (in October, 2011), doctors said that my chances were extremely low (only 50 %). I was 88 years old, I had severe congestive heart failure, two failing kidneys, high blood pressure and a 16 centimeter aortic aneurism that could burst at any moment. With the help of God’s mercy and Dr. Iyer’s surgical skills, the operation miraculously SUCCEEDED, and everything returned to normal.
