Its very disturbing reading the reviews on Dr. Dooms..She crowned and bridged almost all of the dental work Ive received. She was very carrying to Me..Her staff could have been more Professional yes..but this was almost 20 years ago...all my teeth she did are fine to this day? Should I be concerned about the Future?

My mother went for her first visit here and found out she needed her whole top teeth pulled. They told her it would be three weeks to to heal. My friends kept telling me their parents never waited that long. But my mother was okay waiting. She did this and was suppose to be called to come back to be measured or whatever it is they do. Well it took longer than three weeks and my dad calling and the staff being rude to him. They finally had her come back to measure and then told her that they had to send it to the lab and would call her in like 7-10 days that was May 27. Well by now I'm ANGRY, no one should have to go without teeth this long. My mom was too nice. I've called last week and this week and their stories are changing. I may have to make the trip over there which is about 1 1/2 hours one way. They are saying the lab took a few days off and then to come to find out it was more like a 3 week vacation she admitted but no one was advised. She tried to be rude to me.

Rude staff. The paperwork was very shady giving authorization to give fillings and extractions without parental consent. The waiting room was cramped because of overbooking and is filthy. There was dust, grime and hair all over the waiting room floor and it is not cleaned on regular basis. Waited two hours past appointment time to be seen. Parents are not allowed to accompany their children. Not acceptable. My husband refused to let our son go into the back office alone. He threatened to walk out and was responded to sarcasticly. If you are reading this review This is your warning. You should never allow any type of provider dental or medical to perform any type of prodecure on a minor child without your observation except in emergeny situations. Anything could go wrong and this is a open invitation for trouble. This is the worse dentist my son has ever been to. Formal complaints have been filed to our insurance company.

I took my two children last week for the first time and this the last time, I never met the dentist and I am disgusted at the dental assistants walking around with gloves on , answering phone, paperwork, doorknobs ,touching everything, very unprofessional.

Very rude doctor! Serious attitude problems! Terrible bedside manor! If you have any complex regarding your dental appearance then I would not suggest this woman. Shes not nearly good enough to justify the sheer arrogance.

One of the staff members was extremely rude to me and her coworkers. I asked a question about my dental procedure and the same woman responded "How should I know?" Shady paperwork because they ask for an emergency contact not in the household (understandable) but also want the emergency contacts social security number. Why do they need a contacts social if they have nothing to do with your insurance? Phone recording says they're open M-F 9-5, however their Brandon office is only open 3 days a week and they leave well before 5pm. Had to call Tampa office to figure out why with at least 5 people there no one was answering the phone at 2pm when I saw them that same day in the morning. Dental area not sanitary. Dust and grime on equipment. 1st and last visit.
