Found this doctor to be very rude and dismissive of my questions. He just writes a prescription every time and did check to see the conflict with existing medicines being taken. Thank goodness for my pharmacist for pointing out that I cannot take these 2 medicines together!

My mom ended up in the ER after Dr. Attia Amin didn't check her current medications and prescribed a new medication that made her immobile and could have snapped her muscles. My mom is healthy in general but does suffer from arthritis however its controlled by medication and diet. Besides almost being very injured, possibly permanently, she lives a completely normal life. This doctor failed to do one of the most basic rolls of her job. Don't be another victim, double check her work or better yet avoid her all together. Not only did she have no remorse when she found out what had happened, she had a nasty attitude about the whole ordeal which should have gotten her into more trouble than it did and she treated my family members with much disrespect.

I told Dr. I needed a new off work note, he had written the wrong dates in my first one. My job sent me a letter, if they didnt have the new off work note by 5pm Thursday I would lose my job. I called on Monday, at least three times. I did this each day. Finally on Thursday at 3:30 I went to the office. I explained it all again and I had to have it there before 5:00. By 4:15 I was crying in his little office with other patients there. By 4:30 I was really upset. At 4:50 I pleaded with the receptionist telling her in ten minutes i won't have a job. Finally at 5:20 she was given the note. His office called me in Friday morning to come get my disability forms. I went right away. When I got into the car I noticed he'd made a mistake. then whited it out. I took the forms back up and pointed out the mistake and that it was with white out. The receptionist took it to him and immediately brought it out and said, "he said he's done with your forms and won't do anything more for you". Ugh.

After approving my 80 year old father for a motorized chair to aid in his mobility, Dr. Attia refused to amend to verbage to state "power chair" instead of "scooter" on the paperwork. Because of this simple change on the paperwork, my father did not receive the power chair, even though Dr. Attia admitted that he needed one. Dr. Attia not only refused to amend the paperwork, he did not give a reason why. We were so disappointed with these actions and that the Dr. showed absolutely no compassion for my father, who has been his patient for quite some time. Now we have to start the process all over again through other avenues. My father is 80 yrs old, has had 2 heart attacks, is in congestive heart failure, and insulin dependent. He more than qualifies for a power chair, yet Dr. Attia showed zero compassion and nor did his staff. Unbelievable.
