Used to be my Kaiser doctor but left for Palm Springs.i think he's back in SF but not at Kaiser. He was up with the medical research and journals, which I like. I would rather have a doctor who is evidence based, as he is, rather than a doctor who has great bedside manner but really isn't a good doctor. He is personable and knowledgeable though.

Dr. Schiessl is absolutely fantastic. He's very knowledgable and his deep experience instills confidence, has excellent bedside manners, he listens carefully to your concerns and always provides sage advise with a calm and soothing demeanor. I'm so fortunate to have him as my primary care physician and highly recommend him.

Never felt rushed during the office visit. The Dr very concerned but doesn't perform many of the typical office visit protocols such as listening to your heart and lungs etc. The medical Assistant is very poor at returning calls and often does not return voice mails.

The office staff is horrendous except for Luke. His nurse Jessica is unprofessional, inarticulate and lacks tact. Dr. Schiessl is just ok. I only saw him twice but after the experience I really miss my doctor in LA who I had for 14 years and was very happy with.
