I always leave visits with him more confused than when I went in. Dr. Reynolds acts like he doesn't care about my problems just wants to treat the symptoms. He doesn't do a very good job of explaining my condition most of what I know comes from his PA.

I think Dr. Reynolds is very intelligent, but he comes across as very quiet or shy. He doesn't have a sense of humor that I have found yet, so don't expect him to be a joker at all, but he isn't an angry type person either. He does listen and he is intelligent. He does order the proper tests. It's hard to read his expressions so you know where you stand with him, but he's always been very kind. If I could recommend one thing to him it would be that he try to laugh a little bit. I do believe he is able to diagnose people properly within the normal human limits of any physician so I would recommend him.

This office has been extremely helpful to me. I was diagnosed with MS through this office. I usually see the assistant Brad Andrew, but since my diagnosis I haven't really had a reason to see Dr. Reynolds directly. If there's something major Dr. Reynolds or Tahear will see me, but most of the time it's Brad. I've had the opportunity to move, but one of the major reasons I didn't was because I didn't think I could find a better nuero. I would recommend this Nuero office to anybody. Lastly, I've noticed that many nueros in Utah try to push one type of treatment for MS. This doc office doesn't push any particular treatment - they're less biased and influenced by medication companies. In salt lake, most of the patients are on Tysibri, which I think is way too dangerous considering how many people have died from it... I digress. This doc office is great though - not planning to change if I can help it.

I agree with the previous comments. He does not look at you when he talks, and when you ask questions he doesn't really answer them. He mentioned that my blood pressure was low, so I asked what it was, and he seemed shocked that I would ask such a thing. I met with the physian's assistant for almost a year before actually meeting with him. He didn't really care about what I was trying to tell him about my seizure, and when I offered to give him a paper that had a detailed desription he just asked me to summerize it. He told me that he thought I had a sleep disorder, even though I had told him the reason I couldn't sleep was because of the medication I was on. He told me to start taking medication that the PA had just taken me off of a month ago, because it was not doind anything for my headaches. Neither he not his staff really cares about the opinion or the needs of the patient. I am currently trying to find a new neurologist.

The doctor does not look you in the eye (this lowers my ability to trust anyone who does this). He did not explain what might be the problem in any detail. He just handed me a few papers that described what might be relative to his preliminary diagnosis. He recommended a medication but did not discuss the side effects; yet he wrote that he did, in the patient record. This medication caused me to have major complications which were life threatening. If I had known of these complications (which I later found thru my own research) I would not have agreed to take it. All messages are put on a bulletin board. Only 1 of my 4 phone inquiries was returned (3 were the same, repeated over 3 days but were not returned). The first was returned by his PA. All he had to do was to explore the options and side effects I had in greater detail. Since I am not a doctor I trusted what he said. He does do extensive testing, and this has proved helpful for other doctors with whom I consulted.

Saw him with my mother in law - he was very rude and unhelpful-non communicative and did not even look at us when speaking to us. She was in a bad way and we were desperate and he was of no help whatsoever. Even worse-we were treated badly!
