I have known Dr. Swayman for over 18 years. He has been my go to guy for any foot / ankle problems I have had. He has treated my parents, husband, children, friends and other family members and we all love him. He always takes as much time as necessary to explain what is going on and answers questions in a way that makes it easy to understand. He is conservative and caring and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Swayman has been my doctor for a few years. He has given exemplary and consistent services. I had been suffering for awhile and finally ended up having foot surgery two days ago. His bedside services were out of this world. Dr. Swayman is such a sweetheart and very compassionate towards everyone in his care. It doesn't matter your race, background or financial status, he will provide excellent and proficient care. I am thankful for such a down to earth, compassionate, loving and supportive medical provider. He actually called me at home to see how I was doing. Wow!! That was a wow moment. Dr Swayman has been my family's doctor for over 15 years. He always treats us like family and has the most personal touch I have ever seen. He has the most knowledge of the profession and always takes the time to fully explain all the variables of the condition being treated and the reason for his recommendation for the required procedure. Dr. Swayman was a delight to visit. He was very knowledgable, personable and professional. My wife had a sprained ankle and Dr. Swayman was able to make my wife feel comfortable and he diagnosed and treated her injury to full recovery. I always recommend him to all my friends.

Dr. Swayman is by far the most passionate doctor I have ever met. He loves what he does and it shows. I have suffered with bunion issues for over 10 years and finally decided it was time for surgery. Dr. Swayman performed my surgery and within 6 weeks I returned to my normal routine and activities . My surgery was a total success due to Dr. Swayman's expertise and conscientious care. I will not hesitate to call him to perform the same surgery on my other foot. He really goes the extra mile to make sure your medical concerns and needs are addressed. Dr. Swayman, is an excellent Doctor. He is an all around wonderful, caring, genuine person too. My family and I have known him for 10 years. He has cared for each of my children, myself and my husband. My husband had previously seen another Podiatrist who did not take care of the issue. In fact, he wanted to perform immediate surgery. We opted for a second opinion. Thank God we did. Dr Swayman's diagnosis was different than the other Dr. The treatment was a conservative approach that worked wonders and got my husband back to work right away not to mention, saved us a great deal of money. Dr. Swayman's many years of knowledge and experience saved my husband from unnecessary surgery and a long painful recovery. I not only have trusted him with my husband, I completely trust him with each one of my children. No other Dr. in Alaska comes even close to Dr. Swayman. He's the best!

Dr. Swayman and staff took a bad situation (broken foot) and with conciencious professional care eased my concerns and managed my pain. Today I'm good as new....well I'm still old but walking normal.
