It is so unfortunate the staff of these doctors are so unprofessional. I have never been so amazed by such disrespect from a doctor's office!! Nikki does not have the emotional intelligence to be working for a doctor such as Dr. Marley.

My son's emergency appendix surgery went well thank GOD, but let me mention that he was pushed back almost 24r hours and left waiting in pre-op for 12 hours which was completely uncalled for as I understand emergencies come in that are greater than then one at hand. However, they did not call us to surgery until I got upset about how we were being treated and if while he was being pushed continuously to the back of the line if his appendix ruptured I would sue!

Basically whatever my insurance did not cover ($300 I think) they should have eaten the cost for stress and professionalism leaving us in pre-op instead of our room (where my son was more comfortable) for over 12 hours to avoid the hassle of bringing my son up and down. As long as it is convenient for the hospital and the staff right. BUT this complaint is not even for this, this is for your office staff and all FOUR of your doctors Roberto Puglisi, David Lasko, Subhash Puranik and Michele Markley should be ashamed of NIKKI and the way she speaks to your patients! Completely unprofessional.

Now I have received bills, but I only received ONE phone call last week, and left a message. I was planning on calling back.

Nikki calls me today, and I say “Oh yes I got your message you were on my list of things to do, I wanted to reach out to you to simply ask if I could have another month, I unexpectedly owed taxes this year and I could pay that next month”

Nikki then replies “If you cannot pay, then we will have to send this to collections”

My response “ Well if that is what you have to do, I do not see why you cannot hold off on one more month?”
Nikki then replies “We performed emergency surgery on your son and you are refusing to pay, we will just send you to collections were they will upcharge you 30%”

As I reiterated that I had unexpected expenses, she HUNG UP on me. HANGS UP! At no point was I being difficult. NIKKI was aggressive from the minute I answered the phone. Again let me remind you this was only my second call from them. So UNPROFESSIONAL!!

I called back and Brittany said she was on the phone, and she could call me back. I said I do not want her to call me back. She hung up on me. I used to speak to one of the doctors, because as their staff you represent these doctors and you are making them look bad.

When I called back, she claimed she said have a nice day which she did NOT! This review will be on all four of the doctors page reviews and everywhere I can put it. I am sorry you have to get this but it seems this is the only way to hold your office staff accountable for the bad behavior and I refuse to be treated like this. NIKKI your unprofessionalism is reflective of the life saving procedure that Dr. Markley did on my son as you say, if you are here to save lives and be an advocate don’t be a monster to a human on the phone with real human problems attempting to work with you!
