Dr Niccolai is a very empathetic surgeon. He has operated on many family members and all have nothing but favorable comments.

He made my surgical leg longer than the other and took away all mobility in my knee. Befoe surgery knee bend was 137° post 5 months 90°and cannot straighten even after an unsuccessful manipulation. He said over and over everything is as expected Good! My new surgeon disagrees completely and pointed out all the errors in his work. Run if you want to walk after surgery and do not want to be inonstant pain,living on pain medication to survive.

Never asked any personal questions, what I do, my job, activities, etc. All he said was you need your hip replaced, when you can't stand the pain anymore, come in and we'll replace it. Nothing about the procedure, how it will affect my life, my job, etc. No options were given. No pain management discussion.
