Dr Otaka has been our family pcp for years. He has always given us all the respect, time, patience with all our family's yearly illnesses. From asthma, aches, pains, flu, allergies, etc. he definately has gone above and beyond for us countless times. He calls us to check-up on us for severe issues and cares for our relatives visiting from the mainland. We absolutely love love him! He is the only physician we've ever had (for me 3) that has always given his time explaining in "detail" how we got it, how to treat it, and how to prevent it and to call him if it didn't work. We NEVER leave questioning "what was my diagnosis?" We can even contact him on facebook! We don't know what would happen to us without him!

Doctor does not return calls. Very bad with follow-up on patient's visit. Said that he would look into getting a procedure done to find the problem, 9 months later......no response. Not even a call to say that the insurance company may have denied the request. Patient constantly needs to call to get answers, and that's if someone returns the call.
