I visited Dr. Hsu to receive follow-up care after getting into an accident and having a burst fracture of my L1 vertebrae and needing a spinal fusion at the hospital near the college I attend in a different state. His staff was very considerate and friendly. However, Dr. Hsu downplayed the severity of surgery I had done, mislead me based on what was already done but did not provide me with helpful medical based advice moving forward, and was somewhat disrespectful and did not act professional through his use of profane language throughout the entirety of the visit. Despite being 21 and being "young and inexperienced" in his eyes, this was no excuse to downplay what I went through and treat me as if I was a burden for coming to him and having a ton of questions. I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Hsu, however, my visit was less than desirable and I left the appointment having no gained knowledge about my current situation, and left there more confused than before I went.

This is the third time my husband has been to Dr. Hsu. He operated on his back and then his neck. He did an outstanding job on these surgeries. This time he will operate on his back for a different issue. My husband is in severe pain. and when we went to see Dr. Hsu a few days ago he explained in detail what needs to be done. He is very kind and knowledgeable. My husband cannot wait to have the surgery so he can get his life back. All the people at Rothman are so kind and caring and they really know their stuff. We would not trust anyone but Dr. Hsu and Rothman Orthapedics.

After three years of pain management injections for my spinal stenosis, Dr. Hsu was recommended for corrective surgery due to the associated leg pain. Dr. Hsu and his staff did an excellent job with the surgery and follow-up and my leg pain is completely gone! Dr. Hsu is great with his bedside manner and I certainly do recommend him and his staff.
