Dr. Mendez is absolutely golden! He takes time to explain things. I about fainted when he was actually on the phone (instead of a staff member) calling to give me lab results and share his opinion about the results of my labwork. We have friends who happily call him their doctor also; and we share with each other how fond we are of Dr. Mendez. I've read some of the other reviews here. Dr. Mendez does not mince words--which we like very much. He says it like it is. I don't consider this poor bedside manner; I consider it a caring doctor. I want to know exactly where I stand as far as my health. It doesn't help me at all for a doctor to sugarcoat what he professionally thinks. My husband and I give him 5 stars.

I've used Dr. Mendez for almost 10 years and have always been happy with his treatment. Can't tell you the times he has saved my tail! He has always helped me more than most doctors I have ever been to. He does listen and questions me when needed. He always checks any new meds making sure they are compatible with my old meds. I really couldn't ask for a better doctor. Highly recommended! A+

He thinks that he is GOD. He only likes to hear himself talk. He does not want to help his patients. He will not treat you with respect. Whatever you do... do not question him in any way. He gets really offended and will make you pay literally. He will code your visit so your insurance will not pay. BEWARE

We never got to use his services, when we met and he realized the patient smoked, his bedside manners went out the window, very loud and down talked us.We understand that smoking isn't good for anyone, but no doctor has to be so rude toward anyone. Very displeased with his bedside manners.
