I would never ever recommend Dr. Epstein...what a rude, cold, nasty doctor...I went in to see her because she was highly recommended...never did I expect such a rude and uncaring doctor....her medical assistant while nice was lacking on the hygiene and was very unkempt. I will leave it at that.....the doctor came in and even before starting suggested I go back to my previous surgeon who did surgery on my neck over 20 years ago and is elderly and I would not go back to see him..I was there to see her...she then stated that I needed surgery but she would not do it....she does not do that surgery ...it might be risky...quote and unquote and referred me to three doctors and then when I was in her office, her assistant was told to tell me what I need to do and explain my problem while she was sitting at her desk dictating notes...she would not answer one question of mine and only let the assistant talk to me....I felt like I was being punked….so even if someone tells you she is good, her personality and demeanor and coldness and uncaring turned me off....she will not do surgeries that might be complicated...and I heard she just wants to do surgery.....

I waited as long as I could and endured as much pain as I could before looking into surgery....DR Nancy Epstein PERFORMED A FUSION JUST ABOVE the sacrum in 2003. it was the best thing I ever did! While her bedside manners need improvement, all I cared about was having the best possible surgeon to do my surgery....If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Howard. Feinstein.

My Wife has been in agonizing pain and the assistant refused to make the appointment because Dr. Epstein was on a vacation, when she arrives back we are told there is a 3 month wait period. When we finally do get an appointment at a reasonable date we coordinate with her to make plans for further tests at the appointment and a few days later she calls back to tell us she is refusing to care for my wife. There was no referral to another Dr.'s office or advice on what to do in the future. Dr. Epstein is more concerned with her own reputation than actually helping people. Sickening.

I have never dealt with such a rude doctor in my entire life. She was miserable and nasty and does not know how to speak to patients. I took my dad in because she takes our insurance and she REFUSED to speak to us or even give us a consultation. She indirectly kicked us out of the office and kept saying I don't want to undertake this case. Isn't it your job to help patients? I complained to my insurance company about her. We went twice to the office, the first time they didn't receive our paperwork but they should have told us then that she will not want to see us. Never have I been so upset with someone and their attitude. Please save yourself the trip and don't deal with a rude person like her.

Nancy Epstein operated on my cervical spine 12 years ago. Not only did I have to have the surgery fixed, but she did not do anything when I continually complained of extreme head pain for months after the initial surgery. When she went on vacation for a few weeks, her father Joe Epstein saw me, and it was at that time that I was informed that my pain was due to a problem with the surgery. I had the second surgery done at the Hospial For Special Surgery by Dr. Frank Camissa, and thank goodness he fixed the damage she had done and all my pain was relieved. Unfortunately, due to her negligence, I had lost 75 present of my neck movement which could not be fixed. She is a pompous, cruel woman, who would not believe me when I told her of the extreme pain I was in months after the surgery. She did not want to admit that she messed up. Please do not use her. Speak to others and find out more about her shortcomings.

Dr Epstein performed a laminectomy on me almost 10 years ago. She literally gave me back my life. I had a drop foot and could not even walk. The recuperation was long but she was great and really did her job well

She refused to do life saving surgery on my dad, saying it was too risky. Another doctor did the surgery and it went well and he recovered. She's a surgeon who is either afraid or incompetent to perform surgery.
