I agree with the other 2 assessments poster here; he is pompous and has a terrible bedside manner. Makes you feel very uncomfortable for asking questions and does a very poor job answering them. Hi style is such that it almost seems like he's intending to make you feel stupid for asking questions.

Dr. Yang performed a feeding tube insertion for my husband, he had no follow up with us and we found after a 6 week anquishing trial and error of trying different formulas, etc.... that the tube was not properly inserted in the first place. Dr. Yang also announced to me in a crowded waiting room - with a smile on his face that the cancer was also in my husbands liver as he passed through. He is a doctor with absolutely no compassion for people or patients.

Dr. Yang performed my hiatal hernia repair surgery in April of 2010. He fully ignored my repeated expressed concerns about the appearance and discomfort I experienced post procedure. I continue to have pain/discomfort, now fifteen months post surgery, resulting in consultations with my internist and I will now require scar revision from a plastic surgeon. Apathetic best describes my lasting impression of this physician who is chief of thoracic surgery of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
