I had the worst experience. Several weeks ago (Aug), after I received my referral to schedule, I called to schedule an appointment. no one answered, I left a message, no return call. I called again a few times in Sept, same thing, right to voicemail, but didn't bother leaving a message. I called again a week ago, left a message, and after a few hours I decided to walk in and see about getting an appt. The office didn't look busy so I couldn't understand why I never received a call back. I had an appt 2 days later. The next day, I received a call to reschedule to the following Monday. That Monday, I show to my appt only to find they were closed due to Covid protocol. Why wasn't I called? Why did I waste time out of my work schedule for nothing? They didn't get in touch with me until 4 days later! I would say they lost me as a patient, but since they couldn't get me in the door, it's a moot point. I found another doctor.

Dr. Bava is wonderful. Caring and patient,he always takes the time to make sure patients understand exactly what he's doing. Always takes the most conservative treatment option first rather than rushing to something radical. If surgery is required, he is the best. He has completed bunion repairs on both of my feet. I had been warned by others that this is a horribly painful surgery, but I experienced minimal discomfort with Dr. Bava's procedure. Perfect healing, in exactly the timeframe he predicted, with a scar that os almost invisible! I have recommemded him to friends who have been equally satisfied. Just wonderful!

This is a wonderful Podiatrist! It actually take time with all of his patients. His staff is very professional. I would recommend anyone to see Dr. Bava as their Podiatrist.

I love Dr. Bava.!! He is not some prentious, higher than mighty doctor.! He is very down to earth, and talks to you like he would be talking to his own family.! He will take the time to explain until you understand, he will have a joke or two with you. And as likeable as her is, He is a Brilliant Surgeon, and an Dr. of Excellence for Diabetic patients.!! I Highly Reccommend him......!!

Dr. Bava is a caring and skilled surgeon and medical advisor. He took care of my badly broken and misshapen foot and carefully pieced it back together with minimal discomfort on my part. I'm so glad that he's back in the area and have returned to him for another problem. I actively sought him out and would have driven the extra distance to Hampton had he not started his new practice back in Virginia Beach. I initially found him through the very strong recommendations of friends of mine who make their living in medical practices. I would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking foot and ankle attention.

It's great to have a good doctor that doesn't rush and he spends alot of time with you. Great office staff too!
