My name is Courtnay Brost from Yakima area Washington. I travel about 200 miles just to be seen at Summit Cancer Center in Spokane Washington. This center is always on the ball and cares about their patients. I owe them a lot for my current health. The staff along with Dr.Chaudhry are so helpful in patients needs.

Have always appreciated Dr Chaudhry and his staff. Until yesterday 12/15. The reception was cold and critical-minded. My insurance? Then again "your insurance?" I told her i explained already. Shr finally said ok but rudely. Cold. Then coldly asked me to fill out form about INSURANCE and current dr. As i went to sit, a white man came to window. The energy changed from unwelcoming, rude, cold professional....to "OH! How you doing Mr so and so? Hope all is well and you stayed safe in this weather!" So cheery and welcoming. In Undoing Racism, we know what message us people of color are supposed t o receive. We are certain about "our lowly place...the we dont matter place" But i had a bad day and wasnt putting up with it. So i spoke out. I am so glad i only have to go there once a year now. Then for all the girls to say how good it was to see me?! After all that rudenness? Staged. Not genuine. Forget it! Am glad to move forward but please dont treat other Natives this way. Or other People of Color. I pray.
