I had a horrendous experience as a patient, on and off for the last 4-5 years since being under this doctor's care; this doctor is the most unprofessional health care "professional" I have had the unfortunate experience of knowing. I have a medical condition (the irony...) which compelled me to have to cancel approximately 3-4 TOTAL appointments (over the course of 5 years' time) at the last minute, due to emergency; as a result, this doctor terminated me as a patient not once but twice. I was reinstated, but this happened just recently again; I have since been terminated as a patient for the second time - WITH NO NOTIFICATION by the doctor. I happened to "find out" due to calling the office to reschedule a cancelled appointment, to which I was informed that I was terminated as a patient. The lack of sensitivity to my health was one thing; being unprofessional/NOT giving me the courtesy of a notification of termination was another entirely. CLASSLESS behavior. Completely unethical. However...IT WAS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE. I am now with a new doctor in the best health care group in the city - Mercy Health (Kenwood) - and I am in much better hands now. I also appreciate not having to "schlep" to Clifton any longer; Kenwood is my own neck of the woods. Having said this, BUYER BEWARE: I do NOT recommend this doctor. I strongly caution anyone against considering her for their primary care needs. She is ultra-conservative and also likes to push her views on her patients - something that always bothered me, but I overlooked it because she seemed likeable enough at first. Take my advice...do NOT go with Dr. Leann Coberly. You will regret it!
