Asked him a question about an alternative treatment. He puffed out his chest and said “If I haven’t heard about it it’s probably bulls#it.” Clearly intended to shut down any further questions.

His staff made numerous mistakes and oversights, including 3 people who never introduced themselves before doing procedures.

I highly recommend finding another doctor.

This is the worst ophthalmologist one can go to. During my visit at Campus Eye Group he started badgering me with a single question about my discontinuing treatment in the past and then repeatedly accused me of disliking the doctor I was seeing 5 years ago. In other words, he does NOT care to conduct himself professionally with his patients at all. In fact, his behavior was so obnoxious I had to file a formal complaint against him with the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners!

Dr. Stein is all about making money. He did Cataract surgery on my eye and inserted a lens implant that he knew was not right for me. He also did lymbal relaxing incisions that were not long enough or deep enough to be effective. He charged me $1,000 for those ineffective incisions and $2500 for the lens implant. When I was left with blurry distance vision only he wanted to do more corrective surgery at additional costs to me. First he wanted me to get the other Cataract done, of course. I then sought 2nd opinions. The Doctors told me that what he did was not illegal but it was unethical.
