I saw Dr. Horner for about 8 years, twice a year for the same problem and half the time he was really great and listened and asked about family and life but the other half, I left the office feeling unheard and did not get the chance to ask general health questions like I would have liked. The only time I managed this I had to write all my questions down and be very rude to make him hear me. Overall he's a great guy and really go for general yearly check ups for kids or for writing a school excuse for what every one knows is just a really bad head cold, but the environment that he is required to work in does not grantee that you will have a great experience with him when you go.
Also his usual nurse when I went was very scary and cold. There was a male nurse, Lawrence I think it was, he was awesome! Made every bad trip better by answering the questions the doctor didn't have time for.

The most compassionate and greatest doctor ever. I have been seeing him for 25 years now.

I have had Dr. Horner for about 20 years and he is the BEST! He is so concerned about every arena of your life and truly cares about your health. He provides great referrals and is a great physician.

Dr. Horner has been our GP for a long time, and he has been voted best GP in Waco more than once. We find him considerate, thoughtful and logical in his thinking. He always listens to what we say. He gives excellent referrals in case we need to see a specialist. We would not trade him for any other GP in this area.

I have only seen this Doctor one time. He was very brief and gave me the impression he was in a hurry. It was obvious that he had no concern, he came off as bothered. Additionally he was extremly impersonal, superficial and obviously wanted to get in and get out of the room. Dr. Horner was rude, and not what I expect from a physician.
