Dr. Bruce Haight said my eye pressure was a little high and prescribed a bottle of eyedrops to use every night and told me to return in two months to see if they’re working. I came back in two months, and I informed him that the drops were depleted a few days ago. He said they only last 24 hours (so naturally my pressure was high). I didn’t understand why he had me waste my time (and money). The pharmacist later told me the drops were only a one month supply!

He prescribed three bottles this time and told me to return in two months. The next day, I wondered why I should be taking the drops another two months without even knowing if they worked for me. So I called the office and told the lady I needed him to call me. She gave me the usual “one second” a few times, and the last time, I asked how long it’d really be. She said something like five or ten minutes! I asked her to call me back (not sure why she couldn’t just give him that message). She never called. The next day, I went through something similar and expected his call. No call. It took a third call (to the office manager) before Dr. Haight was given my message.

He called back and said I could return after two weeks. So why didn’t he say that in the first place? Now I had to call his office and change my appointment – another nightmare. More of the “one second”, and I waited eleven minutes – then I got a machine. I left a message for a return call. No call from them! Eventually, I sent faxes (twice) cancelling my two month appointment and giving numerous other times I could schedule sooner and giving them the option to respond my phone or email. No response!

I’m never going back. By the way, about a week before your appointment, they call you every day or two to remind you. When you ask them to not call so many times next appointment, they say they can’t control it.

This was my first time coming into this office for an eye exam. I was early to my appointment and was able to start on paperwork right away. I was taken in asap and I think I was out of there before my scheduled time. Dr. Haight was very nice and answered all of my questions. He explained everything in detail so I could understand. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable and like I have been going there for a long time. I will be going back and referring my family and friends!
