Changing doctors. Staff is not helpful, doctor takes two or more days to call back, doesn't really address the issues, just throws drugs at you without seriously trying to find the issue and/or cure.

He has been our GI doctor for over 30 yrs. Outstanding diagnostician but most importantly knows his patients & takes time to thoroughly listen to patient.

This doctor is a disaster--he prescribed a med for me and when I had horrendous side effects and called him with that info. he said, 'There are no side effects with this drug.'
I foolishly stayed with the drug before finally stopping it.
In all my time with him, he also never once actually examined me. It was all talk on the phone.

He is EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING!!! I have ostomy issues, and I went back to his office , today. I politely TRIEDto tell him my symptoms, as well as large unintentional weight loss, and. that my ostomy, rectal stump, and pelvic area are very painful.
I went to ask him something about a concern of mine.
He CONDESCENDLINGLY and loudly said, " WE HAVE BEEN OVER THIS BEFORE!! IF YOU BRING THAT UP ONCE MORE, I AM WALKING OUT OF THIS ROOM!!!!!"
I am 61, and have no family or friends to advocate for me. And I am sure my age, and the fact that I am nj medicaid had a lot to do with it.
STEER CLEAR, unless you love verbal abuse!!!!!!!!

I have been a patient for 25 years and he is thorough and explains everything. I highly recommend them. Like this office better than the Jefferson Road facility.

The Endoscopy conducted on me was well performed, comfortable, and painless. Professional management and execution. I would highly recommend the Hanover Endoscopy Center.

Was very good about getting scopes ordered and done. I am a very complicated g.I. case. I have a problematic ostomy ( done elsewhere.). I had/have many questions and worsening symptoms, and at the most recent visit, when I went to try to tell him I feel much worse, and wanted to ask him questions about why , and the next step...he was rude because he said he was NOT going back to past questions/issues. Only the present. Gave me script for something to increase appetite, and said if that doesn't work, then it means 'mood lifting drugs.'. I am not crazy. I have severe constipation and weight loss. I am described as being cachectic. Wasting away. They will not admit me for further testing. They will not give me TPN. I am 60 years old...on medicaid. When I asked him 'when should I go to the e.r.? ' He again cut me off, and all but yelled, 'You don't NEED to go to the e.r.!!!'. With being n.j. medicaid, I cannot even find any bowel motility Drs. in NJ. they are at Temple or Penn Medicine,'or Jefferson....or Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic. What am I supposed to do????????
