Most comments that were previously posted about Dr.Dole are coming from bitter individuals who apparently abide by the Drs stipulations to be treated for Pain management. The wait times were extensive most of the time but Dr Dole was friendly and knowledgeable about my situation and compassionate about issues. I never had issues getting medications changed or dosages changed when applicable. I never had an issue with the man or his staff

Should get "Worst "Doctor" Award! Be prepared to wait a minimum of 3 hrs for your appointment. Don't ever forget that it is your privilege to be there! Then you can expect about 2 seconds of the "great" man's time. No questions allowed. He isn't interested. No history allowed. He isn't interested. No details about your personal condition so that YOU can be treated appropriately. No. We can't have that. All he is qualified to do is write prescriptions and collect urine specimens for drug testing. That's how he makes his money. He wants to "see" many patients to keep those thousands of dollars flowing. The patients may as well be rats. He doesn't care. He prescribes addictive drugs for everyone because he wants them addicted and dependent upon him. If you complain, he will drop you. If you ask a question, he will drop you. He uses intimidation and fear to keep his pain riddled patients in line. He treats them all as if they are illegal drug users hooked on some illegal substance; not as patients who have real pain and real physical reasons for it. He has no desire to see his patients improve so that they no longer need him or his drugs. I have been hearing from an unusually large number of people about the phony positive drug screens. You may be certain, dear Dr. Dole is up to something. Don't ask me why this guy is approved under any insurance plan, nor why he has a license to practice medicine. He shouldn't. He's an absolute insult to real physicians!

There are two meanings of the word "Doctor", One - someone who attempts to treat, cure, heal, tend, attend to, minister to, care for. Two - to change the content or appearance in order to deceive, falsify, tamper with, interfere with or alter. This person (I refuse to call him a Man OR grace him with the title Doctor), is the latter. He has an IGod personality with "short man" syndrome. Preying on those who feel helpless and defenseless due to his ability to prescribe what the body needs to function on a daily basis. He uses this "power" to HIS advantage. It doesn't matter that you have sat in the waiting area for 3 hours after having been re-scheduled because he decided to not show up on the day appointed to my family member. There is much more that can be said about this individual, but, my time is limited. PLEASE do your research before seeing this person. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing......

WARNING: Office is not accepting new patient's - that means he is working to get rid of self pay pt's (he makes 150$ visit) to make room for insurance pt's (makes 500$ visit). I was told if I would keep my nose clean, see the medical assistance, and not create any problems then he would allow me to stay with his practice! I have never hear of such a thing! Where did that oath given to provide care and compassion go - oh wait, that doesn't pay for the luxuries in life. The problem is Alexandria, LA has only 2 pain dr's and starting this year the only dr's who can give these type of med's are the pain specialist. They are overcrowded and it show. Dr nor med. assistance listen to your issues, they just want to give you scripts in turn for your insurance paying the big bucks. Security is there because they have had death threats in the recent past (not from me - just passing on the facts!)

my sister has been seeing him for a few years now. she has steadily gone down hill physically because of her severe addiction to morphine that he maintains. she has failed two drug tests there and was dismissed but was allowed right back in a month or two later. she is now shooting her meds up and has been doing it for some time. i have no idea why they dont check her arms. i think its because all they want is the money. my sister is going to die from that garbage he gives her and im sure she will be replaced by a new patient shortly after. thats the m.o. , you create an addict, then when thier bodies cant take it any more, (or exibit addictive behavior like failing drug tests and shooting up) you dismiss them and simply create another addict to replace them. sleep well in your $500,000 home in that ultra nice subdivision doc.

Everything written so far is true. He is running a racket. After a year or so he tells patients that they test positive for non-qualifying drugs, takes away their primary pain meds and then wants monthly visits just to squeeze the patient for more cash. I don't see how he stays in business or keeps a physicians license. I have never gotten into a room in less than an hour and a half of my apt time. Stay away from this scam artist he just dispenses oxycodone and morphine the minute your but hits the chair and then he is gone. Dont ask for higher doses or pinpoint your pain he doesnt care. You are supposed to be grateful and keep your mouth shut. The most rude uncaring human being I have ever met.

Wait time is rediulous, but if you are 15 min late, you must reschedule. I tell him where my pain is and it's getting worse as it's going into different areas of my body and he ignores me and just writes a script. Does not give an exam, just a urine screen every visit. Usually doesn't even see me, he has his nurse practitioners see most patients and they are rude. They tell the pt nothing helpful and act as we are drug addicts. The waiting room is packed full and sometimes have police there for crowd control. Unreal. Will not be back.

He is extremely rude and does not want to talk to the pt or listen to them at all! The wait time is usually an hour or more after your appt time and he is never on time. When he does see you he just wants to get you out. AVOID HIM!!!
