I went to see Dr. Altamirano to see if Allergy Shots would help me. Since none of the daily allergy medication helped me he started me on allergy shots. The shots were going fine but I noticed that my allergies were actually getting worse. I called and his staff said that it was normal and to be patient. I kept getting the shots and then one day the shots put me into anaphylaxis. It was the scariest experience of my life. I thought I was going to die. They were talking about intubating me and transferring me to the ICU. Luckily I got to the hospital when I did and they were able to bring me out of it. The hospital told me that they hadn't seen a case that bad in years. I called his office the next day to follow up like the ER said and his staff simply told me to go down a dose. I almost died and they told me to keep taking the shots and that he didn't want to see me to follow up. I would never EVER recommend his office to anyone. They obviously don't care whether their patients live or die. I had nothing but problems with him and his awful staff and will never go back.
