DONT HAVE YOUR MEDICAL DECISIONS DEPEND ON THIS DOCTORS RECOMMENDATIONS. HE DOES NOT THINK OF YOUR WELL BEING.

This Dr shouldn't be called a doctor. He only cares about money and NOT about his patients. I, myself, almost died because of his incompetence. He wanted to change my mode of dialysis from peritoneal dialysis to hemodialysis, a choice I was glad to make since I was getting tired if doing it myself everyday. So I needed a graft done but Dr Sunku insisted I get a permaCath done first and sent me to the ER instead of making an appt with a vascular surgeon. I sat in the ER for 12 hours before they got me a bed, then sat in the hospital for 2 days before they could do the surgery. Thanks Dr. Sunku!!! Especially since this UNNECESSARY surgery almost ended my life. Wouldn't you know the surgeon at AV hospital knicked my artery during the procedure so I was bleeding out in the OP table needing to get opened up (thoracotomy 12in incision), blood transfusion (5L), a chest tube, put on a ventilator, all this and they didn't even bother call my emergency contact until the next day. All awhile I lay unconscious in the ICU. All this from an unnecessary surgery Dr Sunku insisted I get. YES I could have stayed on my PD treatment while my graft was placed and healed. Thanks Dr Sunku, hope you made a butt load of $ from medicare.

Skip ahead I recovered after months, eventually got my graft placed in my left arm and attending dialysis at AVKI 3/week. Only a mere 5 months goes past before the nurses ruin my access in my arm to the point that it can not be repaired and no longer useful. Thanks Dr Sunku, your choice in staff seem as competent as you! So now I have a catheter in my groin, a temporary solution, that dr Sunku is content with being a permanent one. "Out of his hands" he says.

Don't have your renal care followed by this doctor or clinic. Go somewhere else!!

Neglectful-pushed meds (mainly effexor)without cause- went in with minimal health issues, after a year health declined substantially- lost weight, rash, swollen face/neck, generally ill all the time. refused to help to get off meds & declined to see me after i quit after taking for a year- very unprofessional demeanor. Very nasty attitude and tries to brainwash you of needing said meds. Not attentive or informative at all. And never follows through to referral for complaints. No tests done. After this experience i followed up with a different dr. And was treated for hyperthyroidism, copd/emphysema, and heart problems & spent 5 days in hospital.
