I went to this doctor because he's local in my town & he treats TMJ. The office was very cold and inpersonal. It was in the basement of a building and it felt "off" to me. The doctor was ok, nothing special and the treatment he offered felt experimental to me. The problem came when he suggested a mouth guard. The cost was over $1,000.00 and I was told by him that insurance doesnt' cover it. I called my insurance company and I was told that "yes, they do cover it". I called his office back and told them what my insurance Rep. said. After going back and forth with him, regarding my insurance covering it and him claiming it doesnt, my insurance Rep. placed a call to him directly. I could hear him bad mouthing me to my insuarnce company claiming that I was trying to get a free mouth guard!! When my insurance Rep. insturcted me to speak, he hung up on the both of us. We were both shocked by his behavior. Bottom line I feel, is he's only interested in your money, so beware.
