Pros: knowledgeable, effective, used different size needles to reduce pain, office hrs reasonable, cost $68 if bundled on a weekly basis and prepaid in advance. This may not be for everyone. Sanitized hands prior to treatment, use of herbal supplements which added another $20-$50 to the total weekly cost. Was scheduled for treatments 3 times per week, every week. Cons: needs anger mgmt, micro manages patients, inflexible in terms of patients financial constraints, my-way or the high-way philosophy, office up-keep and cleanliness needs improvement.

The comment on 10/12/11 sounds like an ex-Intern of Dr. Liau's. I was an employee of Dr. Liau's for a total of 3 years or so, and I've seen Dr. Liau Mentor successfully a large number of interns per year, and she has always obtain positive and constructive feedback from them! In fact, it was very rewarding for me at the time, and I learned a lot from her and I know that thousands of patients also learned a lot from her! She has helped hundreds if not thousands of people bet better. Dr. Liau thought me a lot about patient care, kindness, respect, compassion, professional etiquette and putting her patients first! I've learned how to work efficiently at the clinic, which has helped me grow as a Medical Assistant. Congratulations Mrs. Liau, for all of your support, dedication to the medical community, and guidance during all of the years that I worked for you!

I have been using acupuncturists for my primary medical care for over 15 years. Since I have moved five or six times since 1997, I have had to use many different acupuncturists. Dr. Liau is one of the best acupuncturists I have found. She is really knowledgeable and will spend the time sharing her knowledge in an effort to help the patient. She operates in a clinical setting which is different from most other acupuncturists --but I personally like it. She has helped me tremendously. She gets results!!

This Dr is not professional when it comes to talking to people. She believes she is better than everyone else because she is a "doctor". She argues with patients and is very demeaning to her staff. I am surprised she has return patients.
