I had an appt at 9:00 on March 30, 2022- which he was nearly an hour late for. He ordered 4 tests and a follow up appt on June 30. On March 31 at 8:30 I received an email from Cleveland Clinic that he was no longer employed. I found out he had quit. He knew. In retrospect I should have suspected something when the reps quizzed each other when I requested the follow up appointment and they hesitated. His lack of transparency I find to be classless. A simple I won't be here and a new doctor will be assigned would have been not the best but would have stopped the surprise email I received hours later. Where ever he lands- stay away from him. Ask yourself the question- Am I getting the most accurate information or is he hiding something?

This doctor was the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. Very rude and did not care to hear anything I had to say about my pain and problems I was having with a GJ tube. He literally pulled my tube out once I demanded that I wanted it removed, threw it in the trash and walked out of the door. His colleague and myself were left flabbergasted! Please note his other poor reviews and save yourself pain and frustration. He has no common decency or professionalism. I'm beyond upset with my situation. Hours later I was sent to the ER by ambulance (by my own call) and admitted for infection and complications.

HORRIBLE! Didn't listen to any of my concerns and did not take me seriously at all. Won't be going back.

I had a routine(10years) colonoscopy at Dr Weiner's Surgery Center in March 2015. During the consult before the procedure, he did not mention that he is no longer in my Aetna network. After the procedure(which he didn't perform), he did not consult with me but wanted another colonoscopy in ONE year-I had one polyp removed & no family history. My co pay was over $1200-if he told me upfront, I would have gone elsewhere(he did the 1st one over 10 years ago so I returned to his practice) Aetna told me they pay100% for in network colonoscopy. It seems his practice is all about getting you in for a proceedure and not following up afterwards. The office seems to profit driven. I would NOT recommend going to this gastroenterology practice.

I have been leaving numerous messages for Dr. Weiner to return my call, but he does not. He was supposed to be conferring with a specialist for the last month, and has not returned my calls (I call 2-3 times per week). Pretty unprofessional and i apologize in advance to anyone i have referred to this doctor. Pathetic!

Dr. Weiner was thorough and persistant in finding a cause for my ischemic colitis. As a result I was diagnosed with a clotting disorder that could have caused a heart attack, stroke or worse. When other physicians told me that likely we'd never find the root of the problem Dr. Weiner persisted and improved my overall health. His surgical center is convenient, his staff professional and courteous and I always feel well cared for. He's the best!

Office was rude and inconsiderate. Lost my test results; had to call several times to get results...no apology. Dr. was OK. Nothing special and really not worth seeing again. Kept insisting I take prescription; no other options??? Didn't really seem to care about my concerns.

On my first visit; I found out more in one hour than I had in 4 months with my previous gastro dr. He was patient, informative, very sensitive and I was not rushed though the appointment. His office staff was friendly and helpful escpecially, when I was trying to get my medcial records transferred to his office.

I went in for a hemmorrhoid problem. At my young age of below 30yrs, he insisted I get a colonoscopy done, which was a waste of time. He has a financial interest in the building he recommends getting the colonoscopy done so most likely suggests them to everybody. The wait was 2 hours long, 1 1/2 hours later than I was told. The office staff are extremely uncaring, however the nurse staff for the exam are EXTREMELY caring and great individuals. After the exam, he told me I had internal hemmorrhoids and irritable bowel syndrome and attempted to rush out the door. No explanation of either was given. I insisted he stay and answer more questions. He did not give me any information about the hemmorrhoids (their cause, cure, etc.) and did not tell me anything IBS. He then rushed out the door. To this moment I have no answers. NEVER GO TO THIS GUY
