Was referred to him by my PCP. On my first visit he asked why I came there. As I tried to tell him, he kept interrupting me and would not let me finish answering what he asked an then fired off more questions with the same response. He treated me very rudely. Returned to him for the results of tests he ordered and his explanation was very vague, no definitive diagnosis, just to return in 2 months. His bill was excessive. A lot of money for nothing. I would not recommend him to anyone, even their dog.

Super doctor! I have been seeing Dr. Cochinwala for about 15 years now, and my rheumatoid arthritis is under control and I feel great! Love his friendly staff, clean office, and "no wait" visits.

He has been my doctor for 15 years. I have had good results from his treatments, in office and in the hospital when necessary.

I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2018 by Dr. Cochinwala and have regretted every second of the 7 months I stayed. He is clearly there for a pay check :( For my appointment- I would arrive 10 minutes early for check in & co-pay. I would get escorted to a room and wait 27-30 minutes (exact) for him to come in. After that he ask about 4 questions and send me to schedule the next appointment. The office assistance's/nurses would then send me down stairs to the lab. When I would come back for the next appointment , (the exact same intake process.. and the waiting), He ask the 4 questions, tell me pieces of my lab results, and send me back out for the next visit.
When I first started seeing this doctor I communicated, that I would like to be informed and educated about everything because this disease is extremely new to me. NOPE he became defensive when I would ask questions about my body, Lupus, and labs like it was a secret.
- I experience my 1st Lupus flare and suffered through pain and consistently informed this doctor and he provided NO HELP AT ALL. I SUFFERED FOR 3 WEEKS. I finally found a new doctor (SHE IS AWESOME) and DR. Cochinwala office put me through hell trying to collect my personal medical files. He does not listen to his patents. He does NOT believe in pain medication! Please do not go to this doctor if you care about your health and voice.

I went to this doctor once and warn everyone NOT to go to him! He didn't draw blood for any tests but said he determined I needed to be put on an intravenous very strong drug. I don't recall the medicine but do remember the staff telling me that if I had one drink of alcohol anytime the rest of my life after starting the treatment (and I am not a drinker but might drink a glass of wine every couple of months) that it would cause liver damage. I told them I DID NOT want the treatment. I never went back. I then received a letter letting me know my treatments had been approved and funded but not through my insurance. Apparently, this doctor collected money for treatments and appointments I never had and never consented to. VERY SHADY!!!!

This is the best Dr. I have used. I was going to a different one and they were not good but he is awesome. Helpful, keeps check on you and gives lab results in a day. So nice and professional.

Dr Cochinwala is not the type of Dr I need on my health care team. He is aloof, and gives me a sense he cares more about himself than me . I told him initially my primary Doc said I tested for Sjogrens syyndrome. I told Dr Cochinwala that I was quite concerned about this diagnosis due to the fact that I was preparing to do a 2100 mile hike in May and how would Sjogrens would affect my ability to do the hike. After all the X-rays and tests, I come back for a follow up review of his diagnosis. At this point he confirms my disease but offers no comments as to my upcoming event. I ask him several questions including debilitating effects that he answers. I am already upset at this point about the disease. On my way out the door, his office person asks me to sign a paper that I will go to an Medical Doctor to get my eyes looked at in order to begin taking Plaquinil. They did not offer a copy of this requirement, nor did the signature page indicate MD only. My eye Doc I have had for 35 years, happens to be an DO. not an MD. he did the eye exam and the signed form by my DO was promptly denied at dr Cochinwalas office.
He should have either told me up front at the beginning. I later had to call his office to to ask him the question to my chief concern about being able to do the 2100 mile hike. He then told me not to do the hike due to previous injury to my leg. This is hinckey business as far as I'm concerned. The guy lacks empathy ad is more concerned about himself. I have since fired him and now going to a new doc that doesn't require an MD sign off for the Plaquinil.
