Dr Duma is in my opinion the best. The brain is a scary place to go for me as well as most I am sure. But not for Duma his knowledge & confidence strengthens your own.

I believe I am here today because of Gamma Knife and Dr. Dumas expertise. I have had breast cancer since 2003. It spread to the bone and then to the brain. In 2008 I met with Dr. Duma after being referred to him by my pain management doctor. It was a whirlwind! Within a day or two of getting my results my husband and I were sitting in Dr. Duma's office. I was terrified because I had done a lot of research on my type of cancer and I knew it was a very aggressive type. I expected to hear how much time I had left and to get my affairs in order. Dr. Duma came into the office with a smile and exuded confidence. He immediately pulled up the MRI and told us that the tumors, (there were four) were inoperable but I was a good candidate for Gamma Knife. He took the time to explain the procedure and showed us other before and after MRIs. He answered all our questions, and we had a lot! He gave me a website that showed how the procedure was done so that I could have a visual of his explanation. Before the procedure I met with one of the Gamma Knife nurses. I can't write enough good things about Dr. Duma. He met with me within a day after my brain tumor was found, and he removed my tumor on the next business day. He clearly explained everything to me before and after the surgery, answering as many questions as I needed to ask him. He is very caring & I felt like I received excellent care. Thank you for removing my tumor, Dr. Duma. Now I don't need to worry about it anymore. I'm very relieved.

I have NF 2 and have been seeing him for nearly 17 years. In many cases with my disease people lose their sight, hearing and ability to walk. I have not, as much as I like to say, it's me fighting through each surgery. I'm sure it's because of the techniques Dr.Duma decides to use with each Tumor I have.
