Dr. Smith was very professional. But, I put her on the list of "checklist" doctors. I mean by that is there is a check list she has to go through and she goes through that as quick and nice as she can. She doesn't asks the minimum amount of question. When you tell her your concern she ignores it and says that is normal. Specifically, I have been trying to get pregnant and I told her I tried last year for 6 months and got pregnant and miscarried, then I have been trying this year for 6 months. She responded that is ok, when it has been a year then we can look more into it. I am fine if she does not want to do any tests or anything. But, I would expect some education that would increase my odds or website recommendation. I felt she wanted to avoid this topic. So for addressing my infertility issues she said let her know after its been a year of trying and if I take a break I could call her and get birth control!! for reals!! I will never see her again or recommend her, not because she is bad, but because there is much better doctors that take the time and get to know you and care about your concerns.

I was a patient at the doubletree location and kitila smith was average, in my opinion. She didnt really listen to my concerns and take time to specifically address them and she seemed uncomfortable with answering certain questions. Also, as a Blackwoman i specifically sought her out because she is an African-American woman. she however seemed unaffected by this. in short, i find her bedside manner a tad lacking.

I see Dr. Smith through Women Care Associates at the doubletree office downtown. I have seen a couple of the women care doctors and they are all professional and do a good job, but Dr. Smith is my favorite. She really listens to you and takes the time to explain things. She'll often draw you a picture to try to explain exactly what is going on in there. I had a procedure done and was pretty nervous about it, she helped me feel at ease and the whole process was almost painless. You wont find a more caring, down to earth doctor out there!
