T.J Mcanallen is a horrible provider. Pushes and prescribes narcotics like candy without ensuring patients actually need them and accessing whether they are drug addicts or not. Very dangerous to people who may have substance abuse issues or addictive personalities.
He should have his license revoked if it hasn't been already.

I feel his dishonesty and disinterest in my care rose to the level of sadism. Eyes on computer at all times, doesn't appear to listen, doesn't communicate effectively and, to me, appears to care very little about the well-being of his patients. When I called in about my MRI, he misrepresented the results, not knowing I already had a copy. I am lucky to have found a better primary care doc so quickly.

Looked/talked to two other doctors before interviewing Doctor McAnallen. He was exactly what we were looking for: attentive, listens to us and any concerns we have, never seems to be in a hurry, and his staff is really friendly. Great doctor.

I really enjoy this doctor! He is a new doctor for me, I went to have a yearly and he ordered several test. One of them a mammogram. Turns out I have breast cancer, no other doctor I have seen recently even bothered. The cancer was caught early enough to be Stage 1. Thankful!

The receptionist for Dr. McAnallen is the worst ever! So unprofessional it's an embarrassment. Will not go back to that office ever. The doctors there don't seem to give you a straight answer because I don't think they know. Run don't walk away from there for your own good. I had to put 1's to complete this they deserve negative numbers.

Went to him after my former doctor in this practice quit. I'm not impressed with McAnallen. He feels very mediocre. But he does run on time. His MA is not good at returning phone calls.

Dr. McAnallen is my favorite!! I've lived in eight different states, and I've seen more Doctors than I can even count since I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism at 18. With that, I've had to have blood tests at least twice a year to monitor my levels. Between jobs, relocations and insurance changes I've seen my share of doctors now at almost 30 years old. I only wish I met Dr. McAnallen sooner. When I moved to Las Vegas in April 2014, he was assigned to me by my insurance provider. I was 240 lbs then, and I am reading the complaint about him saying that the person needed to lose weight and blew off her complaints. I too was having difficulty breathing, exhaustion and other pains and issues. The first thing that Dr. McAnallen suggested was that a lot of the issues I was having is due to being obese, even approaching the extreme end. He left it up to me what I wanted to do: I could go through a series of tests and blood panels to insure health, or I could try losing weight first to see if that would help resolve my issues. I went ahead and scheduled for all the testing. Turns out, yes I am just fat! He NEVER told me that I shouldn't be tested, and NEVER told me that I was fine and it was just weight. He told me that the symptoms can be contributed by weight, and this is what ANY DOCTOR would tell you. He is actually THE ONLY DOCTOR that has checked out all the issues I've been complaining about for years. Under Dr. McAnallen's guidance, I've been able to drop 25 lbs and reduce my cholesterol by 40 points in four months. He not only listens to my complaints, there is actual dialogue which is rare these days with doctors. He explains things that I have questions about and he follows up on issues I've had or am having. I would recommend this doctor to anyone and everyone. I've seen him about five times already and I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Another pro is they run labs right there in the office, so you will never have to drive to a quest or third party blood draw. They have x-rays, ultrasounds, stress tests also right there, making his office the most convenient I've EVER been to!!

Dr. McAnallen should not even have a medical license. I told him I was having a hard time breathing and he kept saying I was just fat. I am about 30 pounds overweight, but knew this was not normal. Kept complaining about the issue and he kept saying go on a diet. I finally went to another doctor and it turns out I had thyroid cancer and the main symptom is having breathing problems. Now I have to pray the cancer didn't spread since it went undetected for a while. Had Dr. McAnallen done his job and ran some tests this could have been diagnosed sooner. He is an absolute joke.
