I had a stint of going to Dr. Look while he was practicing in my area. I went to him with a very infected throat (The entire visible area was black, and dripping puss) I was having horrible issues breathing and hadn't eaten or drank in days. He prescribed me tonsillitis medication stating (after barely looking) that it was a MILD case of tonsillitis. The next day I was hospitalized for fluids by my regular family doctor for SEVERE mono, and was given steroids to stop the swelling in my throat immediately. I was told that it was the single worst case of Mono she had seen in a long time. Another day I listened to people complain about how late and backed up he was, I walked past his office to see him on the computer playing solitaire. Definitely NOT professional.

found him somewhat impatient and condescending - not a lot of pediatric expertise!

In the wrong profession. Doesn't seem to know how to relate to people. Also rude but so was my teenager.

Dr Look filled in for my family doc when she unexpectedly (to me at least) moved out of the country. Other than the usual wait for a doctor I found him reasonably prompt. He certainly seemed fresh out of school and not completely confident as most is probably new to him, but he was willing to listen and help me on two separate occasions.

Dr. Look recently replaced Dr. Haislip and I must say it was not for the better. The doctor was almost an hour late and would only refill birth control pills for 3 months instead of one year.

Dr. Look was filling in for my family dr. while he was on vacation. I made an apt. with him a week in advance for myself and my newborn daughter. My apt. was for 12:30 pm. By 1:15 pm Dr. Look still had not even shown up at the office. We were very discouraged as it is quite a task getting a newborn ready and out of the house only weeks after a c-section. I thought this was very unprofessional of him and after reading the other comments on this site, it is apparent that he lacks consideration for his patients and his practice. Luckily, there were a few other dr's in the office that day that were willing to squeeze us in to their schedule and we got an apt. with a different dr. later that evening who was absolutely wonderful.

Dr. Look has recently replaced Dr. Haislip at Family Practice Assoc. (Gladstone Prof. Centre). I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes this morning to see him, and then gave up and left. The bummer is, I needed only a prescription renewal. Front desk staffperson told me he had forgotten to set his alarm and was late coming in. After reading these other reviews, I think I'll find a new doctor.

Filled in for my GP. Did not introduce himself-I had to ask for his name. Showed very little concern for my condition&told me he was guessing at the diagnosis and he was not lying. After suffering with an infection I finally got the right diagnosis& treatment at a walk in clinic. I understand this happens every now and again but with a little more concern&a bit more examination ie temp, this could be avoided in the future.
