My experiențe with Dr. Kadetr was absolutely wonderful. He operated on my big meningioma and accepted me for urgent surgery, when other neurosurgeons were too busy to accept me. The surgery was very successful and I talk about almost 10 years ago. His bed manner was exceptionally worm and hopeful, and professional capacity was beautifully demonstrated. We are happy with such neurosurgeon at VA Hospital Center!!!

My wife and I fully support and endorse Dr. Kader. He has performed spinal surgery on both of us; my wife's surgery was about six years ago and mine yesterday. She is fully recovered and I am on the way. We are fully pleased with staff and Dr. care, competency, efficiency and compassion. Five stars!

I agree with the comments made on October 15, 2014. Also, when my surgery was not in my opinion successful, no effort to figure out why was made. It seems like that would be a standard practice. After asking too many questions perhaps, I felt that his staff did not follow-up with me very well. I suspect there are better alternatives out there. Also, see the one review on yelp for another opinion.

Dr Kader is very good at repeating neurosurgical procedures that he has already mastered - in that sense he is an excellent classical surgeon. However, he is considerably weaker at making good judgement in more complicated cases.

The key is: Ask him directly if he has done what he's offering you with other patients; and how many such times. Then decide based on his answers whether you'd go with him or with Riedel or Wright, who I think have a wider range of expertise than Kader.

I can't say enough about my very positive experience with Dr. Kader and his staff. I recently had back surgery to repair a ruptured disk and Dr. Kader was my surgeon. The results were much better than I expected. The whole experience was so much easier than my past surgeries. I was up and around almost immediately and within and week had no pain and full mobility. Dr. Kader is an exceptional surgeon and Virginia Hospital Center was also top rate. I would highly recommend both without reservation.

What an amazing neurosurgeon. Dr. Kader was receptive and informative from my first appointment with him. His office staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and there is a feeling of professional caring. Dr. Kader did corrective spinal fushion surgery on me, and following surgery saw me in the hospital three of the three and one-half days I was in the hospital. His Physician's Assistant also came to see me one to two times per day. What a wonderful, caring, and professional group. When I went to the office for my first post-op appointment, I was told that they will "monitor" my progress all during the post-op recouperation period - so I feel well cared for. I am encouraged that I have been given the opportunity for a new start - with a healthy back once again. I would recommend Dr. Abraham Kader to anyone looking for an outstanding, knowledgeable and caring neurosurgeon. Thank goodness for such an outstanding surgeon and individual.
