Dr. Fernando is our family Dentist and we have been with her for over 20 years or so...She has a good knowledge of the subject and always very thorough with the care you need with giving many options to any dental work that needs to be done.. I had a couple of root canals done and I never had to take any painkillers after.. they were done very smoothly. After any treatment she always called to find out how we are doing... My family and I have been treated by Dr Fernando for many years. Despite having numerous doctors in the vicinity of Mississauga, we go all the way to Brampton for our treatment. My work schedule is such that Dr Fernando has on many occasions accommodated my requests for late appointments to suit my schedule. When I broke my front tooth, Dr Fernando gave me an appointment at short notice and provided me with an affordable solution until I was able to fix my tooth. She patiently answered my questions, talked me through the procedures and called to see how I was doing after some complicated procedures. I would recommend Dr Fernando as an experienced doctor who goes beyond her call of duty.

I have been treated by Dr. Fernando for more than twenty years and found all treatment I received was excellent. My treatment included several root canals, implants, fillings and cosmetic treatment.
She is very thorough with procedures used and care about explaining the best options available for treatment in each situation. Staff in the office is very friendly and take every effort to make appointments to suit my availability.
I would like to recommend her to all patients who are looking for a very good dentist with excellent knowledge of all procedures.

I wish I was never her patient and never got my braces done with her. The condition of my teeth deteriorated because she would constantly push for more and more enamel shaving which leads to developing cavities easily and then of course her to say filling needs to be done. She just seemed to be after maximum insurance money or just money anyways (milk the cow). I eventually left and found a very knowledgeable, skilled, ethical and caring dentist. I realized my teeth did not need the amount of work she was doing because the alignment needed to be done on my teeth was minor. I also realized she just does guesswork and does not care for your outcome. She just wants to get it done and over with. She is nice but incompetent and she is not bothered by it.

I will definitely NOT recommend her to anyone. I feel she is guessing things at times. I went to her for root canal treatment. On my second appointment, when I was suppose to get permanent filling, she initially filled canal, took an Xray, and she felt something was not right. She took out filling from canal with the same needle like instument, without informing me. Also, possibly pushed some of the cement down the root canal, causing so much pain for days. I still have to go to her regarding this pain. Anyways, so when I asked her why she removed the filling, her answers were very vague and short. I don't trust her skills as this is my second root canal from her. Similar experience in the past.

Dr. Fernando have given excellent care to my family for over 10 years. She is skillful and runs an efficient clinic. Although there are numerous dentists in my neighborhood, I would rather drive 24 miles to Brampton to see her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced and a talented dentist.
