Dr. Vandenburg is extremely vague and stubborn in her diagnoses. Although several patients are under Disability support for little to no struggle, students struggling with intense anxiety, and in my case, Aspergers', Borderline PD, and a high risk of Scizophrenia are laughed out of the room, also appliance to:, a second opinion, and a copy of her formal diagnoses (reminding an LU students that she is all we can afford, and returns us to where we ran from).
Unbiasedly, as a soon-to-be Psychology graduate, I would not recommend this Psychiatrist to my worst enemy. As a 23 year old who struggled with an independent lifestyle, an abusive childhood, current addictions, life-shattering separations, and, thoughts of suicide, I would like to express that Dr. Vandenburg, frankly, should not be practicing the vital field of medicine, let alone the Social Sciences in general - especially in the presence of vulnerable, young adults.
