Dr. Grootendoorst is SO smart that he scares me. I have had incredible results from his expertise. I like a Doctor who doesn't waste time with small talk - I go to a Dr. to receive medical assistance - not to socialize. I have had a 32 year nursing career and have a good idea of outstanding Doctors versus Doctors

It is difficult to get to know a doctor until you really need serious and emergency medical treatments. And it is not something anybody wants to have. I have been with Dr. G for over 6 years, and find that he is a good doctor with patience to listen to any medical issues or worries. In the past 3 years, I have been unlucky to have health issues one after another needing surgeries. All my problems are different and un-related to each other. During these 3 years, Dr G did deploy his expertise as a family doctor to get me the care, examinations and surgeries that I need on every different situations. He was caring and also careful especially, after I had post-op issues. I am very grateful for his help and also his understanding of all the insurance paperwork that he had to complete.

He is great.Tell him what your issue is and he gets right to it.Very helpful with finding the right specialist if needed and booking you the appointment.Writes work/medical letters upon request, within reason.My son is an athlete/football player and he has really watched over him medically for the past 5 years. As a Mom I could not be happier with this Dr regarding my son.I am also his patient and can say that he does what I ask and has helped with many issues regarding my health.Sometimes he can be in a rush but what DR isn't these days? Depends on the day and the schedule at the clinic. When I go to see him, I know what I am asking and expect him to get to it right away anyways. Don't get me wrong, when it is necessary he does totally take his time to explain things and takes the time to find the problem. All you have to do is ask him if you don't understand. Plus he is easy on the eyes. Staff has always been good to my son and myself.I recommend this Doctor G to anyone!
