Dr. Ward ordered bloodwork for my husband in early September after a referral from his family doctor. The letter from Dr. Ward said they would call once they had his results. On September 18 his family doctor had the results and said to wait and hear from ordering physician (Dr. Ward). A couple of weeks ago (January) my husband went back to his doctor for a prescription refill and mentioned he hadn't yet heard anything. He still has the original letter. He now has a phone appointment with a completely different gastroenterologist with no explanation from Dr. Ward's office. Very poor.

So unreliable. Has taken over 6 weeks to hear from him because I’m sick and still haven’t. Phone appt was cancelled last minute for no reason. I will be looking for a new specialist.

I had a colonoscopy done and then a follow up phone call. Dr Ward was very nice, he took the time to answers all my questions. Staff was very pleasant on the phone. Thank you.

I was referred to another GI in Red Deer but soon switched to Dr Ward who in my opinion is the best and last GI for me. He is knowledgeable, thorough and personable. He takes time to explain medications and the results. He will find a treatment that works best. Highly recommended, and worth the wait to see him.
