I was injured at work and was not getting anywhere with work comp. I was in severe pain with my neck . I went to Dr. Sorini and told him my story and I was willing to pay for it with my private insurance. When Dr. Sorini heard my story my story he said "NO WAY" this is clearly work comp. We will run it through work comp. 4 days before my operation, work comp said they were not going to pay right then. I called Dr. Sorini crying, He told me don't worry, I will operate on you, go ahead an come down we will worry about the money later. It took work comp fighting with my attorney's to approve this. Never once did Dr. Sorini press for my bill (neither did St. James Hospital) Now, if this is NOT compassion and caring what is) This is a wonderful doctor. More doctors need to take lessons from him.
